Description
Interdental distance measuring device using pressure sensor probe The present invention relates to an interdental distance measuring device using a sensor probe, and specifically, to an invention having the feature of being easy to use for maintaining and managing a user's teeth by measuring the interdental distance. Cleaning the interdental spaces is an important factor in maintaining effective dental hygiene. For this reason, interdental brushes that can be inserted into the interdental spaces have been developed. These brushes are formed with a fine wire as a support and stiff bristles protruding outwards. However, the size of the interdental gaps varies from person to person, and since the shape of the teeth differs in the imprinting process, the gaps between each tooth also differ. For the best dental hygiene, it is important to use the correct and most suitable interdental brush. However, conventionally, it was difficult to measure the interdental gap of each individual user, and providing an interdental brush suitable for each individual's interdental gap was practically difficult. Therefore, to select a suitable interdental brush, it is important to accurately determine the interdental space. To this end, various interdental gap measuring devices have been developed, one example of which is disclosed in Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1539586. However, conventional interdental gap measuring devices had the problem of being somewhat bulky, and there was a problem in accurately measuring the interdental gap due to the difficulty of inserting them into the user's oral cavity. To solve this problem, a small, cone-shaped measuring tool was developed. The principle involves inserting this tool between the teeth to visually confirm how far the tip of the cone is inserted, thereby determining the interdental space. In particular, there was an effort to quantify the size chart matching the colors by using different colors for each layer at the tip of the cone. However, there was the inconvenience of the examiner having to physically check how far the tip of the cone was inserted after gripping and inserting it into the interdental space. For example, when inserted between molars, there is a limitation in that it is difficult to visually inspect it if the mouth is narrow or if the tip of the cone is obscured by the teeth. In addition, when a user uses an interdental brush without knowing the interdental gap, the thickness of the interdental brush does not match the user's interdental gap, so there was a problem of having to purchase interdental brushes until a suitable one was found. Therefore, there is a need for a device that measures interdental space using interdental pressure and, accordingly, allows for the customized use of interdental brushes of varying sizes for each user.
