Abstract

The present invention detects when a child or pet is riding in the rear seat and approaches the window, and automatically closes the open window, thereby preventing accidents that may occur due to the opening of the window. In particular, when the window closes in this manner, the present invention generates a warning and an alarm to notify the driver and passengers, allowing them to confirm the situation and respond quickly and safely. Furthermore, the present invention is equipped with a manual switch, so that the operation of this system is turned off when a regular passenger, not a child or pet, is riding in the rear seat and the window is opened smoothly, thereby ensuring safe opening and closing of the window.

Claims (2)

  1. In automatic window locking systems for protecting children and pets, A motion detection sensor (10) installed around an opening (O) where the car window opens to detect movement around the opening (O); A controller (20) that, upon receiving a detection signal from the motion detection sensor (10), controls the window regulator (R) to move the window (G) up and down to close the window (G) and simultaneously generates a warning and an alarm; and An automatic window locking system for protecting children and pets, characterized by including a manual switch (30) that cuts off power to prevent the above controller (20) from operating.
  2. In an automatic window locking system that uses a window regulator(R) already installed in the vehicle, A first step of checking whether the manual switch (30) that prevents the window regulator (R) from being controlled in the automatic window locking system for child and pet protection is in the ON state, and if it is not in the ON state, waiting until it becomes ON; A second step in which, when the above manual switch (30) is in the ON state, movement approaching is detected through a motion detection sensor (10) installed around the opening (O), and if there is no movement, a waiting step is performed; and A control method for an automatic window locking system for protecting children and pets, characterized by including: a third step in which, if there is movement through the motion detection sensor (10), the window regulator (R) is operated by the control of the controller (20) to close the window (G) and simultaneously generate a warning and an alarm.

Description

Automatic Window Closing System for Protecting Children and Pets and Controlling Method of the Same The present invention relates to an automatic window locking system for protecting children and pets and a control method thereof. More specifically, it controls the window regulator to close the window when a child or pet approaches the opening of a car door, thereby preventing accidents that may occur when a part of the body protrudes from the car or a pet jumps out of the window. In addition, by configuring a manual switch operated by the driver in this system, the window can be conveniently opened or closed whenever a general passenger wishes to use the window. Generally, automobiles are equipped with electric window regulators, and as the driver or passenger operates a switch, the window regulator operates to ensure smooth opening and closing of the windows. Such window regulators are controlled in various ways, as shown in (Patent Document 1) to (Patent Document 3) below. (Patent Document 1) Korean Published Patent No. 10-2024-0074978 The present invention relates to a control device and a control method for opening and closing a vehicle window according to the environment inside the vehicle after detecting a vehicle occupant, comprising a detection module for detecting a vehicle occupant, a sensor module for measuring the environment inside the vehicle, an opening/closing module for opening or closing the interior space of the vehicle, and a control unit. The control unit may be characterized by setting a reference range based on the presence or absence of an occupant or the number of occupants detected through the detection module, and comparing the environment inside the vehicle measured through the sensor module with the reference range to open or close the interior space of the vehicle through the opening/closing module. (Patent Document 2) Korean Published Patent No. 10-2022-0073529 The present invention relates to an automatic car window opening and closing device for preventing various accidents in a vehicle, which uses a weight motion detection sensor inside the vehicle to determine whether there is a person inside the vehicle, uses a temperature and humidity sensor to detect the temperature and opens the window to prevent accidents before young children are at high temperatures and dangerous accidents occur, uses a carbon dioxide sensor to measure the amount of carbon dioxide inside the vehicle and immediately opens the window if an amount exceeding a certain level is detected, and installs a water level detection and control sensor outside the vehicle so that if there is no person inside the vehicle, the window closes automatically, and in the event of vehicle submersion, uses a water level detection sensor inside the vehicle engine and a waterproof external battery to make it easy to open and close the window. (Patent Document 3) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1999339 A car window opening and closing device may include an acoustic signal generator, a housing, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The acoustic signal generator may generate a first acoustic signal. The housing may enclose the acoustic signal generator. The first sensor is separated from the acoustic signal generator by the housing and may receive the first acoustic signal or a second acoustic signal in which the first acoustic signal is modified through the housing. The second sensor may receive abnormal signals different from the first and second acoustic signals. The controller receives a first detection result from the first sensor and a second detection result from the second sensor, and may control the car window using the first and second detection results. The housing may further enclose the first sensor, the second sensor, and the controller.
