Description

Workpiece Fixing Jig {FIXING JIG FOR WORKPIECE} The present invention relates to a jig for fixing a workpiece, and more specifically, to a workpiece fixing jig capable of fixing a sheet material of irregular shape, such as a thin sheet or a circular material, to a milling vise. When processing irregularly shaped sheets, such as circular sheets, or thin sheets using a milling vise, a primary processing step must be performed so that the upper and lower gripping surfaces of the material are parallel. However, even in this case, for thin sheets with a thickness of approximately 3 mm or less, it is very difficult to fix and process them in a standard vise because the thinness causes problems such as the material bending. Processing such thin sheets or irregularly shaped plates causes inconvenience, such as the need to remove the vise and fabricate a separate auxiliary plate. Consequently, there is an increasing demand for a device capable of directly securing thin sheet materials of various shapes or thicknesses into a vise. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a workpiece fixing jig according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a partial perspective view of a workpiece fixing jig according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 is an enlarged view of part A of Figure 2. FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view of a workpiece fixing jig according to another embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily implement the present invention. However, the present invention may be embodied in various different forms and is not limited to the embodiments described herein. Throughout the specification, similar parts are denoted by the same reference numerals. A workpiece fixing jig according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a workpiece fixing jig according to one embodiment of the present invention. The workpiece fixing jig according to the present embodiment includes an upper base plate (10), a lower base plate (20), and a connecting part (30). A pair of upper base plates (10) are provided, and an upper fixing hole (11) is formed through the upper surface in the form of a flat plate. The upper fixing hole (11) is configured to allow the upper base plate (10) and the lower base plate (20) to be connected and tightly fixed using a separate fastening member, such as a separate wrench bolt, and multiple holes may be formed to firmly fix the upper base plate (10) and the lower base plate (20). A pair of lower base plates (20) are also provided, each located on the lower side of the upper base plate (10), and a lower fixing groove (21) is formed on the upper surface corresponding to the upper fixing hole (11). As described above, the upper base plate (10) and the lower base plate (20) can be connected and fixed by inserting a separate fastening member (not shown) into the upper fixing hole (11) and the lower fixing groove (21). Alternatively, if the lower fixing groove (21) is formed through the lower base plate (20), the upper base plate (10) and the lower base plate (20) can be connected in close contact, and then a fastening member such as a wrench bolt is inserted from the upper side of the upper fixing hole (11), and then a hexagonal nut or the like is fastened from the lower side of the lower fixing groove (21) to connect and fix the upper base plate (10) and the lower base plate (20). A plurality of connecting members (30) are provided as members connecting a pair of lower base plates (20) and are each connected to the end portions of the sides of the opposing lower base plates (20). The connecting members (30) are formed of a material with low elasticity and high rigidity and are connected to a pair of lower base plates (20) to help each lower base plate (20) maintain a horizontal position relative to the ground. The connecting portion (30) includes a first connecting member (31) and a second connecting member (32). One end of the first connecting member (31) is connected to one lower base plate (20), and the other end is inserted into the length adjustment member (40). One end of the second connecting member (32) is connected to another lower base plate (20), and the other end is inserted into the length adjustment member (40). That is, the first connecting member (31) and the second connecting member (32) are inserted into each of the ends of the length adjustment member (40). For example, the connecting part (30) may be a stud bolt and the length adjustment member (40) may be a hexagonal nut. In this case, by rotating the length adjustment member (40), the first connecting member (31) and the second connecting member (32), which are located inside the length adjustment member (40), protrude to the outside of the length adjustment member (40), and ac
