Description
Composition for teeth gloss improvement comprising sodium hexametaphosphate and phytic acid The present invention relates to a composition for improving tooth gloss comprising sodium hexametaphosphate and phytic acid, and more specifically, to a composition comprising sodium hexametaphosphate and phytic acid having an excellent effect of removing tooth discoloration and improving tooth gloss. A bright, white smile greatly contributes to building confident interpersonal relationships. Furthermore, a confident smile makes first impressions more positive; recently, as interest in teeth whitening has grown beyond just oral health, functional toothpaste formulations with teeth whitening effects are being released. Traditionally, teeth whitening, which restores the color of teeth discolored by various causes to a brighter shade without damaging them, was centered on dental treatments or procedures; however, recently, teeth whitening products that can be used at home are being developed. However, as we age, teeth darken and lose their shine due to various causes, including dietary habits. Conventional teeth whitening toothpastes had a limitation in that while they could brighten the color of teeth, they could not sufficiently restore the lost shine. While teeth whitening involves making yellowed teeth whiter, teeth gloss improvement involves making the tooth surface appear shiny by shifting from diffuse reflection to specular reflection; thus, the two are distinguished, just as skin whitening is distinguished from skin gloss improvement. Losing tooth shine means that the tooth surface has become rough, causing excessive diffuse reflection. Since harmful bacteria and staining agents can easily adhere to a rough tooth surface, improving shine is very important for dental health. Meanwhile, although there are various types and methods of teeth whitening, most involve bleaching teeth by oxidizing the staining agents using high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide, a method that has been used in dentistry for over 100 years and whose whitening effect has been proven. In this process, peroxide acts as an oxidizing agent that oxidizes the staining substances on the teeth, thereby achieving whitening by modifying or decomposing and removing the staining substances; however, it has the disadvantage of potentially reducing the gloss of the teeth. Against this background, the inventors confirmed that a composition containing sodium hexametaphosphate and phytic acid has an excellent effect in removing tooth discoloration while simultaneously having an excellent effect in improving tooth gloss, and thus completed the present invention. The present application will be explained in more detail below through examples. However, the following examples are merely preferred embodiments for illustrating the present application and are therefore not intended to limit the scope of the rights of the present application. Meanwhile, technical matters not described in this specification can be sufficiently understood and easily implemented by a person skilled in the art who is proficient in the technical field of the present application or a similar technical field. The drawings and embodiments of this specification are intended to enable a person skilled in the art to easily understand and practice the invention. Content that may obscure the essence of the invention may be omitted from the drawings and embodiments, and the invention is not limited to the drawings and embodiments. Throughout this specification, "%" used to indicate the concentration of a particular substance is (weight/weight)% for solid/solid, (weight/volume)% for solid/liquid, and (volume/volume)% for liquid/liquid, unless otherwise noted. Unless otherwise specified, all numbers, values, and/or expressions used herein to denote ingredients, reaction conditions, and the content of ingredients shall be understood to be modified by the term “approximately” in all cases, as these numbers are essentially approximations reflecting the various uncertainties of measurement that occur in obtaining these values among others. And, where numerical ranges are disclosed in this specification, such ranges are continuous and, unless otherwise specified, include all values from the minimum value of such range to the maximum value including the maximum value. Furthermore, the term "or" in this specification is intended to mean an implied "or" rather than an exclusive "or." That is, where the combination or use of the configurations is not otherwise specified or is not evident from the context—i.e., where X includes A; X includes B; or X includes both A and B—"X includes A or B" may be applied to either of these cases. Throughout this specification, when a part is described as "comprising" a certain component, this means that, unless specifically stated otherwise, it does not exclude other components but may include additional components.
