- In paragraph 1, A connecting plate located in front of the cylinder for the impact detection means and connected to the impact detection means, reciprocating back and forth together with the impact detection means; and A stopping assembly for a swaging machine comprising: a regulating means provided to prevent the retraction of the connecting plate at a first position, which is the position of the connecting plate, when the striking member is at the maximum retraction position.
- In paragraph 3, A stopping assembly for a swaging machine, wherein the above-mentioned regulating means is provided to prevent the retraction of the connecting plate even at a second position, which is the position of the connecting plate, when the above-mentioned striking member is at a predetermined position between the maximum retraction position and the maximum advance position, and is provided to selectively perform the prevention of the connecting plate's retraction at the first position and the prevention of the connecting plate's retraction at the second position.
- In paragraph 4, The above-mentioned regulatory means is, A lifting plate positioned to be vertically movable between the cylinder for the impact detection means and the connecting plate; A lifting cylinder provided to raise the above lifting plate; A short locking member protruding forward from the lifting plate to prevent the retraction of the connecting plate at the first position; and A stopping assembly for a swaging machine comprising: a long stopper protruding forward from the lifting plate at a height different from the short stopper and having a longer length than the short stopper, thereby preventing the retraction of the connecting plate at the second position.
Description
Stopping Assembly for Swaging Machine The present invention relates to a stopping assembly, and more specifically, to a stopping assembly for a swaging machine for automatically stopping the end of a reinforcing bar moving toward the swaging machine when the end of the reinforcing bar reaches a swaging position within the swaging machine. In reinforced concrete structures, reinforcing bars are used to compensate for the concrete's insufficient tensile strength. Since reinforcing bars are manufactured to specific lengths according to standards, they are generally connected to each other at construction sites to achieve the required length. It is known that couplers are used as a method to connect reinforcing bars. In this case, one end of one of two adjacent reinforcing bars is screwed into one end of the coupler, and the other end of the reinforcing bar is screwed into the opposite end of the coupler. Therefore, to connect reinforcing bars through a coupler, the process of forming the ends of each reinforcing bar into threaded sections must be performed beforehand. A technology for forming a threaded portion on the end of a reinforcing bar is disclosed in Registered Patent Publication No. 10-0820184 (Method for processing a threaded portion of a reinforcing bar). In this technology, a threaded portion is formed on the end of the reinforcing bar through a swaging process, a cutting process, and a rolling process. Additionally, Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1195689 (Device for processing threads for reinforcing bars and method for processing threads using the same) discloses a swaging machine that performs the above-mentioned swaging process. FIG. 1 is a side view illustrating an exemplary swaging machine equipped with a stopping device for a swaging machine according to the present invention. Figure 2 shows the reinforcing bar rotation means illustrated in Figure 1 viewed from the rear. Figure 3 is a plan view of a pair of gripping bodies shown in Figure 2. Figure 4 shows the end of a reinforcing bar processed by the swaging machine of Figure 1. FIG. 5 is a plan view of a stopping assembly according to the present invention. Figure 6 shows the stopping assembly illustrated in Figure 5 viewed from the front. Figure 7 is a partial cross-sectional view of the stopping assembly shown in Figure 5. Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a stopping assembly for a swaging machine according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The terms and words used below should not be interpreted as being limited to their ordinary or dictionary meanings, and should be interpreted in a meaning and concept consistent with the technical spirit of the present invention, based on the principle that the inventor can appropriately define the concept of the terms to best describe his invention. < Example of a swaging machine with a stopping assembly (150) installed according to the present invention > To clearly understand the stopping assembly (150) according to the present invention, a swaging machine (100) in which the stopping assembly (150) can be installed is first described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. Since the swaging machine (100) described below is merely an example, the stopping assembly (150) according to the present invention should not be understood as being installed only in the swaging machine (100) described below, but should be understood as being installed in other types of swaging machines that need to stop the end (12) of the reinforcing bar (10) at the swaging position. A swaging machine (100) is used for a swaging process, which is one of several processes for forming a threaded portion on the end (12) of a reinforcing bar (10), and includes a mold (110) and a reinforcing bar rotation means (120). The above mold (110) includes a lower mold (112) and an upper mold (114). The lower mold (112) is fixed to a frame (not shown) that forms the overall frame of the swaging machine (100) and has a roughly semicircular groove on its upper surface. The upper mold (114) is installed to be vertically movable on the frame and has a roughly semicircular groove on its lower surface. When the end (12) of the reinforcing bar (10) reaches the swaging position, it is supported by the lower mold (112) as shown in FIG. 1. In this state, the upper mold (114) is lowered by a pressing means (not shown) installed on the frame to press the end (12) of the reinforcing bar (10), and then rises in the opposite direction to release the pressure. When the upper mold (114) rises, the reinforcing bar (10) rotates by a predetermined angle, and then the upper mold (114) lowers and rises again. When the lowering and rising of the upper mold (114) and the rotation of the reinforcing bar (10) are repeated multiple times in this manner, the end (12) of the reinforcing bar (10) is swaged in a form where the nodes (10a) and ribs (10b) are pressed, as shown in FIG. 4. The above-mentioned rebar rotatio
