KR-20260064198-A - Detachable door frame catch
Abstract
The present invention relates to a detachable door frame catch, and more specifically, to a detachable door frame catch in which the catch is installed so as to be detachable from the door frame, thereby preventing accidents in which one is trapped inside a building by separating the catch from the door frame without any special tools in the event of a door locking accident. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a detachable door frame catch is provided, comprising: a latch insertion groove formed in the door frame so as to be detachably attached to a door frame, into which a latch protrusion installed on the door can be inserted; a catch body attached to close the latch insertion groove of the door frame and preventing the latch protrusion inserted into the latch insertion groove of the door frame from escaping from the latch insertion groove; and a separation operation part provided on one side of the catch body and configured to allow the catch body to be separated from the latch insertion groove; wherein the catch body can be separated from the door frame when the separation operation part is operated.

Claims (3)
- In a catch configured to be detachably attached to a door frame, A latch insertion groove formed in the door frame so that a latch protrusion installed on the door can be inserted; A catch body attached to close the latch insertion groove of the door frame and preventing the latch protrusion inserted into the latch insertion groove of the door frame from moving out of the latch insertion groove; and A separation operation part provided on one side of the catch body and configured to allow the catch body to be separated from the latch insertion groove; comprising A detachable door frame catch characterized in that the catch body can be separated from the door frame when the above-mentioned separation operation part is operated.
- In claim 1, The above separation operation unit is: A protrusion protruding in an 'H' shape on the rear of the above catch body; A pair of through holes formed on the catch body surface inside the above-mentioned protrusion; A support member attached to cover both sides of the above-mentioned protrusion and having a perforated hole formed therein; A fastening member having a handle portion embedded in the inner surface of the above-mentioned protrusion and protruding to the upper surface of the catch body through the through hole, and a door frame support portion formed to extend through the perforated hole; and A detachable door frame catch characterized by including a spring that is embedded inside the above-mentioned protrusion and provides elastic force to the door frame support inserted into the above-mentioned perforation hole.
- In claim 2, A detachable door frame catch, characterized in that the catch body has bolt holes formed therein so as to be fastened to the door frame.
Description
Detachable door frame catch The present invention relates to a detachable door frame catch, and more specifically, to a detachable door frame catch in which the catch is installed so as to be detachable from the door frame, thereby preventing accidents in which one is trapped inside a building by separating the catch from the door frame without any special tools in the event of a door locking accident. Recently, there have been frequent incidents where residents are trapped inside windowless bathrooms, bathtubs, or rooms due to broken door handles. The door can be opened or closed by protruding or retracting depending on the operation of the handle, with the protrusion of the latch connected to the handle inserted into the catch. However, if the latch connected to the handle malfunctions, the protrusion of the latch will not move even if the handle is operated, and thus, the entrapment accident described above may occur. Therefore, there is a need to develop technology for latches and catches that can prevent entrapment accidents by being configured to allow escape from the interior even if the latch connected to the door handle fails. As a technology serving as the background for an invention related thereto, Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-2551631 (Safety catch for a secure door lock) has been disclosed. The disclosed safety catch for a secure door lock is a catch (10) for a door lock that is installed on a door frame and allows a latch (100) that moves in and out by the operation of a door handle to engage or disengage, thereby fixing or opening the door to the door frame; the catch body (11) in the shape of a plate, which is installed on the door frame and has a latch through hole (11h) formed in a portion corresponding to a latch insertion groove (20a) formed in a catch box (20); The safety catch for a door lock includes a plate-shaped latch separation plate (12) that is installed to be movable horizontally between the catch body and the catch box, and has a latch through hole (12h) corresponding to the latch through hole (11h) formed therein, and a latch pushing plate part (12p) is formed extending from one edge of the latch through hole, and as it moves horizontally, the latch pushing plate part moves along the inclined surface of the latch and pushes the end of the latch outward from the latch insertion groove so that the latch is removed from the latch through hole and the door can be opened. FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a separable door frame catch according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an exploded view of a separable door frame catch according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a drawing showing a latch insertion groove formed in a door frame according to an embodiment of the present invention.
