Abstract

The present invention relates to a hygienic cutlery holder for restaurants, and more specifically, to a hygienic cutlery holder for restaurants that prevents hands from touching cutlery when taking it out, and can additionally sterilize the stored cutlery using a UV lamp. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a hygienic cutlery container for a restaurant capable of hygienically storing cutlery comprises: a cutlery container body having a cutlery storage section formed therein, which is a space for storing cutlery; a cutlery discharge port provided on the front of the cutlery container body for discharging cutlery stored in the cutlery storage section; and a button section provided on the rear of the cutlery container body for discharging cutlery stored in the cutlery storage section to the cutlery discharge port; wherein a cutlery storage groove connected to the cutlery storage section is formed on the upper part of the cutlery container body, and when a user inserts cutlery into the cutlery storage groove, the cutlery is stored in the cutlery storage section, and when the button section is operated, the cutlery stored in the cutlery storage section is discharged to the cutlery discharge port.

Generally, most restaurants place a cutlery holder containing spoons and chopsticks on the table. It is provided so that even if the restaurant staff does not bring the cutlery, customers can open the lid of the holder and take cutlery according to the number of people after ordering food. In this way, placing a cutlery holder on the table reduces the workload of the staff, and customers can retrieve their cutlery without having to call a staff member if they drop it on the floor, making it very practical. However, there is a problem that many customers dining at restaurants touch the cutlery inside the cutlery holder with their bare hands, and since the inside of the cutlery holder is a sealed space, bacteria can easily multiply, making it unhygienic. Therefore, there is a need to develop a cutlery holder that allows the cutlery stored inside to be disposed of without being touched by hand, and can eradicate bacteria multiplying inside the holder. As a background technology for an invention related thereto, Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2022-0073259 (a cutlery holder equipped with a UV sterilization lamp) has been disclosed.
