Claims (4)
- A toilet paper holder that detects and visually displays the remaining amount of toilet paper, comprising: a toilet paper holder body; a toilet paper holder lid installed on the body and lowering as the thickness of the toilet paper decreases; a sensing sensor installed on the inner wall of the body to detect a change in the position of the toilet paper holder lid; and an LED light that lights up when the sensing sensor detects the position of the toilet paper holder lid as being below a certain distance to notify the user that the remaining amount of toilet paper is insufficient.
- A toilet paper holder according to claim 1, wherein the sensing sensor is an infrared (IR) distance sensor, and detects when the toilet paper holder lid enters within the sensing distance of the sensor or goes down below a certain distance, and transmits a lighting signal to the LED light.
- A toilet paper holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the front surface of the toilet paper holder bar is formed in a structure that bends outward so that a user can easily insert toilet paper.
- A toilet paper holder according to claim 1, wherein the LED lighting may be formed on both sides of the upper part of the toilet paper holder body or located at the upper center, and the color of the LED lighting changes to provide various visual signals according to the remaining state of the toilet paper.
Description
Toilet Paper Holder with Remaining Quantity Indicator The present invention relates to a toilet paper holder, and more specifically, to a toilet paper holder equipped with a toilet paper detection sensor and an indicator LED. A toilet paper holder is an item related to toilet paper used by users when using the restroom, serving as a tool to hang the paper. However, in public restrooms, it is difficult to determine the presence of toilet paper, and checking this requires the inconvenience of lifting the holder or entering the stall directly. FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a toilet paper holder according to the lowering of the toilet paper lid of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a drawing showing a sensing sensor of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a toilet paper holder (Z) according to the present invention. As shown, the toilet paper holder (Z) according to the present invention mainly comprises a toilet paper holder lid (A), a toilet paper holder bar (B), and an LED light (C). These components interact to visually indicate the remaining amount of toilet paper and increase user convenience. The toilet paper holder lid (A) has a structure that descends according to the thickness of the toilet paper. The toilet paper holder lid (A) of the present invention is designed to descend gradually in conjunction with the toilet paper roll, the thickness of which decreases as the toilet paper is used. The descending range of the toilet paper holder lid (A) directly indicates the remaining amount of toilet paper, and when it reaches a specific position, a signal indicating a shortage of remaining amount is activated by the detection sensor (2). This is an important function to resolve the inconvenience of the user being unable to predict the state of insufficient toilet paper. The LED light (C) serves to visually inform the user of the remaining amount of toilet paper. The LED light (C) is installed on the top of the toilet paper holder (Z), and its color and position can be adjusted according to the usage environment. For example, the LED light (C) can be formed on both the left and right sides of the top of the toilet paper holder (Z), and can be lit in a single color or various colors. This light is automatically turned on when the toilet paper is low, allowing the user to immediately check the remaining status of the toilet paper when they open the bathroom door. The toilet paper holder bar (B) is a component designed to provide ease of toilet paper replacement. The toilet paper holder bar (B) has a structure where the front is slightly angled, allowing the user to easily insert or replace new toilet paper. This greatly increases the convenience of the process of replacing toilet paper in public restrooms, etc. FIG. 2 shows the internal structure of a toilet paper holder (Z) including a sensing sensor (2) according to the present invention. The sensing sensor (2) is mounted on the inner wall (1) of the toilet paper holder and is installed to detect when the toilet paper holder lid (A) is lowered below a certain height. An infrared (IR) distance sensor is used as the sensing sensor (2), and this sensor detects a change in distance and recognizes that the remaining amount of toilet paper has reached a threshold. For example, as the user uses the toilet paper, the toilet paper holder lid (A) gradually descends. At this time, when the toilet paper holder lid (A) reaches or passes the distance threshold set by the detection sensor (2), the detection sensor (2) activates and transmits a signal to the LED light (C). Through this, the LED light (C) turns on to notify the user that the toilet paper is running low. Signal transmission and LED lighting are performed according to the operation method of the detection sensor (2). The detection sensor (2) detects the toilet paper holder lid (A) that has approached within a certain distance from the inner wall surface (1) of the toilet paper holder, and this detection signal is transmitted to the LED light (C) to turn on the light. As a result, the user receives visual feedback simply through the LED light on the top of the toilet paper holder without having to check the remaining amount of toilet paper.
