Description
digital shopping cart The present invention relates to a digital shopping cart, and more specifically, to a digital shopping cart that allows immediate payment for items placed in the cart by utilizing NFC functionality. A shopping cart is a device used to carry items, but there is the inconvenience of having to go to the checkout counter to pay after filling it with items. Figure 1 is a drawing showing the overall appearance of a digital shopping cart. FIG. 2 is a drawing showing a specific appearance of the handle portion of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a digital shopping cart (100) according to the present invention. As shown, the digital shopping cart according to the present invention includes a handle (10), an NFC reader (20), a card reader (30), and a display (40). FIG. 2 is a drawing showing the specific appearance of the handle portion (10) of the present invention. As illustrated, the handle (10) includes an NFC reader (20), a card reader (30), and a display (40). The display is designed to show items for which the user has scanned the barcode. When the user scans the barcode of a product using a mobile phone application, the name and price of the item are displayed on the display. The NFC reader (20) is a device that allows the user to immediately calculate the price of the item for which the barcode has been scanned, and the card reader (30) is a device that allows payment using a card held by a user who cannot use the NFC reader (20). For example, if the barcode of an item worth 1,000 won is scanned with a mobile phone and placed in a cart, the name and price of the item are displayed on the display (40), and if the item that was placed in the cart is to be removed, the user can remove the item by touching it on the display. In the case of items without barcodes, the user can directly select and place the item on the display. After placing all the items, the user brings the mobile phone close to the NFC reader (20), and the amount of the items is automatically paid. An electronic receipt is issued to the mobile phone application. If the NFC reader (20) is not functioning, payment can be made through the card reader (30) located next to it.
