Description

Lamp for vehicle The present invention relates to a vehicle lamp, and more specifically, to a vehicle lamp capable of forming various beam patterns while reducing the installation space. Generally, vehicles are equipped with various types of lamps that have a lighting function to easily identify objects located around the vehicle during nighttime driving and a signaling function to inform surrounding vehicles or pedestrians of the vehicle's driving status. For example, headlamps and fog lamps are primarily intended for lighting functions, while turn signal lamps, tail lamps, and brake lamps are primarily intended for signaling functions, and the installation standards and specifications for each lamp are stipulated by law so that each lamp can fully perform its respective function. In these automotive lamps, optical elements such as lenses are arranged along the direction in which light is emitted from a light source, and since the path and brightness of the light emitted from the light source are controlled and projected by these optical elements, it is difficult to reduce the installation space in the direction of light emission. In addition, in order for a vehicle lamp to form multiple different beam patterns, a separate optical system corresponding to each beam pattern must be provided, which increases the installation space. Therefore, there is a need for a method that enables the formation of various beam patterns while reducing the installation space required for beam pattern formation.
