Claims (1)

  1. An Android-based mobile app for reading barcodes of maritime transport cargo information, characterized by a function that enables real-time verification of cargo information and real-time aggregation processing by scanning the cargo barcode using an inspector's mobile terminal (smartphone) and transmitting the read cargo information to a server (shipment inspection program) via a mobile communication network.

Description

Android-based maritime transport cargo information barcode reading mobile app <0001> The present invention relates to an Android-based mobile app for reading barcodes of maritime transport cargo information, and more specifically, to an Android-based mobile app capable of verifying information of cargo loaded onto a vessel for export or coastal maritime transport in real time by reading a barcode attached to the cargo. <0002> Globally, the transportation of cargo via sea is on the rise, and with over 90% of domestic import and export volume being sea-transported cargo, the cargo handling performance of Korean ports reached 1.55113 billion tons in 2023. In the maritime transportation of cargo, cargo inspection is conducted as a process to faithfully and fairly verify and certify the number and condition of the cargo, serving as a procedure to prove the quantity of cargo and the carrier's liability for compensation in the event of various accidents. <0003> In particular, inspectors who conduct cargo inspections are subject to the procedures for their qualifications and business registration under the Port Transport Business Act, and when cargo is unloaded or loaded, they calculate the number of cargo items, verify discrepancies with the cargo manifest declared to customs, such as proof of quantity, and issue a certificate of acceptance of the cargo. <0004> Meanwhile, regarding inspection operations, there are six inspection companies at Busan Port alone, and approximately 650 inspectors are performing inspections of import and export cargo. However, errors occur during the inspection process when cargo information is visually verified and recorded manually. Additionally, while some utilize scanners on barcodes attached to cargo to verify product information and physical items and automatically tally data, there are issues such as communication interruptions and differing program screen configurations when used in ship cargo holds. <0005> In cases where inspection is conducted using barcodes displaying export cargo information, the data must be looked up using a scanner; wireless handheld barcode scanners or PDA devices are primarily used, and various programs have been developed and are commercially available depending on the type of vessel and cargo. However, there is a problem in that it is inefficient to move additional equipment through the narrow entrances and gaps between cargo in a ship's cargo hold to scan barcodes. <0012> FIG. 1 is a user management function according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a barcode scanning function according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a cargo inspection function according to an embodiment of the present invention. <0013> The terms used in this invention have been selected to be as widely used as possible; however, in specific cases, terms have been arbitrarily selected by the applicant. In such cases, the meaning should be understood by considering the meaning described or used in the detailed description of the invention, rather than merely the name of the term. <0014> Hereinafter, the technical configuration of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to preferred embodiments illustrated in the attached drawings. <0015> However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described herein and may be embodied in other forms. <0016> Referring to FIG. 1, a user management function according to an embodiment of the present invention includes membership registration, login, and personal information functions. <0017> Referring to FIG. 2, which is a barcode scanning function according to an embodiment of the present invention, before inspecting the cargo, a function to distinguish between TBM (Tool Box Meeting), boarding, and disembarking is performed, and a barcode scanning function is performed through the camera of a mobile terminal. <0018> Referring to FIG. 3, which is a cargo inspection function according to an embodiment of the present invention, if you specify an inspection vessel, select a destination, and select a cargo hold to be loaded, scan the barcode of the actual cargo to view the product list and save the location value of the specified product, the loaded location and cargo information are displayed as shown in the figure, and when you click on the object, you can view the details.
