Description

A method and an apparatus for providing information on financial products The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for providing information about financial products. Recently, services enabling the trading of various types of assets through online platforms are being provided. Through online platforms, users can trade assets registered on the platform. Online platforms capable of trading stocks and options provide separate screens for displaying stock price charts (hereinafter referred to as the "chart screen") and options price quotes (hereinafter referred to as the "quote screen"). Generally, the stock chart screen visually displays fluctuations in stock prices. Meanwhile, to trade options, the user must open the option quote screen, which is separate from the stock chart screen, check the premium price of the option, and place an order. In other words, to trade options, the user must perform two distinct processes: assessing the current status of the relevant stock (e.g., stock price fluctuations) through the chart screen and executing the option trade through the quote screen.
