Claims (1)
- Claim 1: A safety handle protection device designed to allow a user to access the handle only at a specified angle. Claim 2: A device comprising a protective cover that prevents malfunction by limiting the angle and direction of pressing the handle. Claim 3: A dispenser handle protection device that minimizes direct heat transfer to the handle by using heat-resistant plastic.
Description
Safety Handle Guard for Dispensers The present invention relates to a safety handle protection device for a hot water dispenser, and more specifically, to a safety cover device that prevents hot water from spurting out due to user error and protects the user from heat damage. This can be applied to household and commercial hot water dispensers. While existing hot water dispensers are designed for convenient water use, there was a possibility of accidents involving hot water spraying due to handle malfunctions or mistakes. In particular, the lack of safety features in public places or environments used by children poses a high risk of burns. Consequently, the need for protective devices to enhance safety is increasingly being emphasized. Fig. 1: Appearance with protective plastic applied texture The protective cover is made using heat-resistant plastic. This plastic does not deform even at temperatures above 100°C and minimizes heat conduction to prevent heat from being transferred to the user. Installation method The protective cover is secured around the dispenser handle. It is designed to be detachable, allowing it to be easily mounted on existing dispensers. ㆍ A mechanical locking mechanism is introduced to prevent the cover and handle from tilting beyond a certain angle. Operating principle 1. When the user presses their finger vertically on the top of the handle protection cover, the handle moves downward and water starts to flow out. 2. Due to the handle access restriction feature, water does not come out by approaching from the side or pushing the handle.
