Abstract
The present application provides a sensing method and a communication device that may be applied to a wireless local area network system supporting IEEE 802.11bf, or to a wireless local area network system supporting IEEE 802.11ax, IEEE 802.11be, or other IEEE 802.11 series protocols, in order to optimize the time interaction problem at the end of a sensing measurement session. The method comprises: a first device receiving a first instruction information from a second device, wherein the first instruction information instructs the second device to request the first device not to transmit a first message to the second device within a first duration after the end of a first sensing measurement session, or instructs the second device not to transmit the first message to the first device within a first duration after the end of a first sensing measurement session, or instructs the second device not to participate in a sensing measurement session after the end of a first sensing measurement session, and the first message is used to request the establishment of a second sensing measurement session.
