Description

Used Clothing Collection System { SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING USED CLOTHES } The present invention relates to a technology for collecting used clothing for resale purposes, and more specifically, to a system for collecting used clothing to be resold by visiting the store in a non-face-to-face manner or by courier. Clothing waste is the world's second-largest culprit of environmental pollution, with approximately 100,000 tons generated annually in Korea. The recycling rate for clothing waste is only about 1%, with the majority being discarded; however, the disposal process generates harmful chemicals and microplastics, polluting the environment. Recently, the second-hand clothing resale market is growing rapidly due to the influence of "value consumption," a new consumption trend among the MZ generation (Millennials and Generation Z). The second-hand clothing resale market involves collecting used clothes from sellers and reselling them to buyers after undergoing a process of collection, inspection, merchandising, and resale. Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2022-0109710 (published August 5, 2022) proposes a consignment sales technology for fashion products. This technology performs a dedicated bag delivery process in which a server delivers a dedicated bag for collecting fashion products to the user in response to a consignment sales application request for fashion products received from a user terminal, and performs a commercialization process for the fashion products delivered from the user via the dedicated bag. Then, once the commercialization process of the fashion product is completed, information regarding whether the sales procedure will proceed and the estimated sales price is provided to the user terminal, and based on the information regarding whether the sales procedure will proceed and the final sales price of each fashion product determined via the user terminal, consignment sales of the fashion product are executed through the fashion product shopping mall application. Meanwhile, this technology records the entire merchandising process via CCTV to prepare for potential damage or loss of fashion products that may occur during the merchandising process, thereby enabling clear determination of liability in the event of future customer claims. Furthermore, it calculates estimated sales prices by considering factors such as brands with high consumer preference, consumer demand by product size, and consumer demand by product type, as well as past sales performance data of similar products, and applies differentiated consignment commissions to each product that the consignment seller receives from the user (consignment requester). There is a problem in that when calculating estimated sales prices, only past sales performance data is considered, making it impossible to reflect current trends in real time.
