Description
Photosensitive coloring composition, cured material, barrier, organic electroluminescent device, color filter and image display device The present invention relates to a photosensitive coloring composition. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cured product obtained by curing a photosensitive coloring composition; a partition composed of the cured product; an organic electroluminescent device, a color filter, and an image display device having the partition. The present application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-179679 filed on October 18, 2023, and incorporates the contents thereof herein. Recently, due to the low power consumption and wide color gamut of displays, color filters in which pixels are formed using luminescent nanocrystalline particles such as quantum dots are being considered. Methods for manufacturing color filters include photolithography and inkjet methods, and it is known that the latter can reduce the loss of ink material (see, for example, Patent Document 1). When manufacturing a color filter containing luminescent nanocrystalline particles by an inkjet method, pixels are formed by ejecting ink containing luminescent nanocrystalline particles into an area (pixel area) surrounded by a pre-fabricated barrier. Furthermore, organic electroluminescent devices used in organic field displays and the like are manufactured by forming banks on a substrate and stacking various functional layers within the region enclosed by the banks. The inkjet method is known as a method for stacking functional layers within the banks. A photosensitive resin composition is known as a resin composition used to form a barrier, comprising a photopolymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator, an alkali-soluble resin, and a liquid-repellent agent (see, for example, Patent Document 2). In addition, by using a specific dispersant, a colored resin composition having a low contact angle with water and good non-uniformity of coating (e.g., see Patent Document 3), a block copolymer having good dispersibility, developability, and drying redissolvability, and a pigment dispersion composition containing the same (e.g., see Patent Document 4) are known. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing an example of a color filter having a partition wall according to the present invention. The present invention will be described in detail below. Furthermore, the following description is merely an example of an embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited thereto unless it exceeds the gist thereof. In the present invention, the following terms have the following meanings. "(Meta)acrylic" means "either one or both of acrylic and methacrylic." "Total solid content of a photosensitive coloring composition" refers to the total amount of all components other than the solvent in the photosensitive coloring composition. Even if a component other than the solvent is liquid at room temperature, that component is not included in the solvent but is included in the total solid content. The numerical range indicated using "~" refers to a range that includes the values listed before and after "~" as lower and upper limits. "Bulkhead" refers to a bank, wall, or wall. "Weight average molecular weight" and "number average molecular weight" each refer to the weight average molecular weight (Mw) of polystyrene equivalent by GPC (gel penetration chromatography). "Acid value" refers to the acid value converted to effective solids unless otherwise specified, and is calculated by neutralization titration. In the present invention, the partition wall can be used, for example, to partition a functional layer (organic layer, light-emitting part) in an active-driven organic electroluminescent device, and can be used to form a pixel including, for example, a functional layer and a partition wall by ejecting and drying ink, which is a material for constituting the functional layer, in the partitioned area (pixel area). Additionally, it can be used to partition a pixel part in a color filter containing luminescent nanocrystalline particles, and can be used to form a pixel by ejecting and drying ink in the partitioned area. [1] Photosensitive coloring composition The photosensitive coloring composition of the present invention comprises (A) a coloring agent, (B) a dispersant, (C) an alkali-soluble resin, (D) a photopolymerizable compound, and (E) a photopolymerization initiator. The photosensitive coloring composition may additionally include other components as needed, for example, (F) a compound, an ultraviolet absorber, a polymerization inhibitor, a thermal polymerization initiator, an amino compound, a silane coupling agent, an inorganic filler, a phosphate-based ethylenetic monomer, and a solvent. The photosensitive coloring composition of the first aspect of the present invention is (A) a photosensitive coloring composition used to form a barrier, wherein the cont
