KR-20260066205-A - sterilizing compressed trash can
Abstract
The present invention relates to a sterilizing compression trash can, and more specifically, to a sterilizing compression trash can that can be used conveniently and hygienically by compressing the trash when it is filled to a certain level or higher, and by removing odors and sterilizing it. To achieve the above objective, the sterilization compression trash can of the present invention comprises: a container capable of collecting trash; a compression unit that lowers upon an input signal and helps efficiently utilize space by pressing the trash with a constant pressure inside the container; a lid hinged to the top of the container to seal the trash; a footrest connected to the bottom of the container to open the lid when pressed with a foot; and a deodorizing device connected inside the container to remove odors generated during the trash compression process.

Description
Sterilizing compressed trash can The present invention relates to a trash can. Generally, trash cans are provided with an internal storage space for waste collection. They are used by placing trash directly inside or by using a trash bag to prevent internal contamination. However, these types of trash cans entail highly irrational problems, such as wasted space caused by bulky items like cans and plastics, resulting in poor internal utilization; furthermore, efficient use requires compressing the waste through physical contact; and poor cleanliness leads to unpleasant odors, reducing convenience and causing hygiene issues. Accordingly, there have been proposals for trash cans that can compress waste using a separate tool, such as Registered Patent Publication No. 10-2022-0104429, but this is merely a technical configuration in which the lid of the compression trash can is pressed directly by hand using a tool to compress the waste, and there is the inconvenience of having to compress it by pressing it directly using one's body. For example, trash cans are used by people of various ages. The aforementioned prior art literature suffers from reduced efficiency because the compression structure is merely passive, which does not allow for sufficient compression for young children or those with limited strength. Furthermore, it is difficult to resolve odor generation and hygiene issues arising from such simple compression. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a side structural diagram of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a plan view of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a rear view of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a right side view of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a left side view of a sterilizing compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a bottom view of a sterilized compression trash can according to an embodiment of the present invention. A sterilizing compression trash can (100) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a container (10), a compression unit, a lid (30), a footrest (40), and a deodorizing device (50). The above container (10) serves as a place for collecting waste and forms the overall frame of the sterilization compression trash can (100). The above compression unit (20) is positioned on the bottom surface of the cover (30), and when a certain level of waste is collected and sealed by the cover, it is lowered by an input signal to efficiently compress the waste inside. At this time, the internal space of the container is compressed as the compression part descends. As the pressure inside the container increases, air is discharged through the air outlet (21) inside the compression part (20) during the descent process. Accordingly, this allows for more efficient space utilization by increasing the compression ratio while mitigating the pressure increase applied during the compression process. The above cover (30) is hinged to the top of the container (10) so that it can be opened and closed by the footrest (40) and seals the waste. The above footrest (40) is connected to the lower part of the container (10) so that the cover (30) opens to allow waste to be put in. The above deodorizing device (50) is connected to both sides of the lower interior of the container (10) and operates to remove odors generated during the waste compression process. At this time, the deodorizing device (50) is not merely for the purpose of removing odors, but also allows the filter (sterilization) system (51) inside the deodorizing device (50) to operate together to ensure hygienic management. Below, we will examine the operation process of the present invention composed of the above-described configuration. The sterilizing compression trash can of the present invention is not limited to the aforementioned embodiments and can be implemented with various modifications within the scope permissible by the technical concept of the present invention.
