Description

Server providing additional services linked to navigation services and method of operation thereof {AT LEAST ONE SERVER PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SERVICES LINKED TO NAVIGATION SERVICES AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF} The present invention relates to a server that provides an additional service linked to a navigation service and a method of operation thereof, and more specifically, to a server that provides an additional service linked to a navigation service with improved convenience by linking a navigation service and a VAN service, and a method of operation thereof. A navigation system primarily refers to a function that guides a vehicle, such as a car, to a destination while driving. Navigation systems utilize the Global Positioning System (GPS) to detect the current location of a moving object by using navigation messages received from multiple GPS satellites and detection signals from multiple sensors installed on the vehicle, including gyro sensors that detect the driving direction and speed sensors that detect driving speed. The navigation system matches the current location of a detected moving vehicle to map data, and then searches for a driving path from the matched current location of the moving vehicle to a selected destination using the map data. It is equipped with a path search and guidance function that guides the moving vehicle to drive to the destination along the searched driving path. With the recent advancement of IT technology, navigation systems are moving beyond the simple function of providing directions and are being equipped with various features, such as voice recognition via artificial intelligence, the provision of restaurant and accommodation information, and gas station information. As an example of the technology forming the background of the present invention, Korean Registered Patent Publication 10-2211751 B1 (January 28, 2021) discloses a method for providing a delivery service using an AI-based O2O camera and navigation, wherein when a franchisee uses a camera to photograph a screen displayed on a franchisee terminal, text on the photographed screen is extracted from the image to recognize an address, and the recognized address is automatically transmitted to a delivery service provider along with the franchisee's address. When the delivery service provider receives the address, the address is immediately linked with a navigation or map application to automatically output the travel route from the current location to the franchisee and the travel route from the franchisee to the customer's address, thereby minimizing human intervention. FIG. 1 is a drawing of a navigation system according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a block diagram of a van server according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a flowchart of the operation process of a navigation system according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a detailed block diagram of a van server according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a flowchart of a method of operation of a van server according to an embodiment of the present invention. The operating principles of preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the attached drawings. Furthermore, in describing embodiments of the invention, detailed descriptions of related known functions or configurations will be omitted if it is determined that such detailed descriptions could obscure the essence of the present disclosure. Additionally, the terms used below are defined considering their functions in the present invention, and these may vary depending on the intentions or conventions of the user or operator. Therefore, the definitions of the terms used should be interpreted based on the content throughout this specification and the corresponding functions. FIG. 1 is a drawing of a navigation system according to one embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 1, the navigation system (10) may include a user terminal (100), a navigation server (200), a VAN server (300), and a card company merchant server (400). A user terminal (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can provide a navigation service to a user by running a navigation application. Specifically, when the user terminal (100) receives destination information from the user, it can communicate with a navigation server (200) to search for an optimal route to the destination and provide it to the user. In addition, the user terminal (100) can receive information about affiliated stores, such as restaurants and cafes, located in the area surrounding the destination from the navigation server (200) and provide it to the user. A navigation server (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can search for a route to a destination and transmit the result to a user terminal (100). In addition, the navigation server (200) can provide various information such
