Abstract

The present invention aims to solve the problem of instability during high-altitude work when the floor surface on which the ladder is installed is not flat, in the case of high-altitude work using a ladder. To this end, the present invention provides a ladder safety aid, wherein the ladder safety aid comprises: a body having a vertically elongated rectangular cross-section having a pair of ladder coupling bolts for coupling with the ladder; a length adjustment leg inserted into the body to enable length adjustment; a length fixing groove provided on one side of the length adjustment leg to engage a length adjustment lever, and an anti-slip foot provided on the opposite side inserted into the body to prevent slipping by contacting the floor surface; wherein the length adjustment lever is elastically supported to rotate within the body, so that when the length adjustment lever is pulled like a trigger, the length adjustment lever is separated from the length fixing groove to adjust the length of the length adjustment leg, and when the length adjustment lever is released, the length adjustment lever is inserted into the length fixing groove to fix the length adjustment leg. The present invention provides a technology that enables safe work by installing a ladder flat even in places where the floor surface is uneven, through the means for solving the problem of the present invention as described above.

Description

ladder safety assist device{.} The present invention relates to an auxiliary device for safely using a ladder. More specifically, it aims to provide a ladder that enables a worker to safely perform work at heights even at work positions of varying heights. Prior art prior to the filing of the present invention discloses a height adjustment device for a ladder screw. This technology relates to a height adjustment device for a ladder screw and discloses a height adjustment configuration for a ladder screw that is connected to the lower part of a ladder support and supported on the ground to assist in supporting force, and is composed of a support arranged parallel to both sides and a plurality of steps connecting the two supports. Another prior art discloses a ladder having an anti-tipping structure. This technology discloses an anti-tipping configuration in which an auxiliary leg is provided at a position close to the center of gravity of the ladder on which a worker is standing, thereby preventing tipping through safer support. Figure 1 illustrates the configuration and operation effect of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a detailed diagram of the length adjustment configuration of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention being operated by hand. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the use of a ladder with the ladder safety assist device of the present invention installed. FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram of an embodiment for increasing the grounding force of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a diagram of the configuration of an anti-slip hoof for increasing the traction force of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. Figure 7 is an explanatory diagram illustrating the process of tipping over due to the shift in the center of gravity of a ladder. FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a sandbag net configuration that prevents the ladder from tipping over as an additional configuration according to the use of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. The effects of the present invention are explained using the drawings as follows. FIG. 1 illustrates the configuration and operational effects of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. The present invention is a ladder safety assist device that allows a ladder to be safely installed and used even on uneven terrain by adjusting the length of the length-adjusting legs using a length-adjusting lever. A pair of ladder connecting bolts, which are fixed to the ladder, are provided vertically. While it is possible to use a standard nut for fixing the ladder connecting bolts, it is also possible to use a wing nut. When using a wing nut, there is an advantage that it can be connected without a separate tool. A ladder safety assist device comprises a main body, a ladder connecting bolt and nut provided on the main body, a length-adjusting leg inserted into the inside of the main body and adjusting the length extending out of the main body to adjust the length of the ladder leg, and a length-fixing groove provided on the length-adjusting leg, wherein the length is fixed when a length-adjusting lever is inserted into the groove and the length can be adjusted when it is separated. The length-adjusting lever is elastically supported to be rotatable on the main body and is inserted into the length-fixing groove by means of elasticity, and is operated to separate from the length-fixing groove and adjust the length by the user's operation of the length-adjusting lever. FIG. 2 is a detailed explanatory diagram of the length adjustment configuration of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention. A length fixing groove is provided on the length adjustment leg on the side where the length adjustment lever of the body is installed. The length adjustment lever is installed on the body, and a protrusion in the shape of a handle is formed to facilitate the operation of the length adjustment lever. The length adjustment lever is inserted into the length fixing groove by means of elasticity, and the length adjustment leg can be moved to separate it by the user's action to adjust the length. In one embodiment of the present invention, a lever is used for length adjustment, but it is also possible to adjust and fix the length using a method of inserting a key into a bolt, nut, or keyway. However, the method of using a lever in the present invention allows for convenient length adjustment compared to other methods, and since the fixing force increases due to the downward force acting after length adjustment, the configuration has the effect of fixing the length more safely during use. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the ladder safety assist device of the present invention being operated by hand. It illustrates the operation of a user hooking their
