Description
U-Shaped Mouthpiece Type Toothbrush The present invention relates to a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush, and more specifically, to a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush that can effectively remove food debris and plaque from the tooth surface more effectively than conventional mouthpiece type toothbrushes. Modern people brush their teeth every day for their dental and oral health. At this time, depending on the person, they may brush their teeth manually using a toothbrush or brush their teeth using an electric toothbrush. However, if you brush your teeth manually using a regular toothbrush, plaque and other debris are not effectively removed, and depending on the user's incorrect brushing habits, it can actually lead to diseases of the teeth or gums, such as injury to the gums. In the case of electric toothbrushes, they are very expensive compared to regular toothbrushes, so there is a burden regarding the price, and gum disease may occur due to the excessive rotation of the bristles caused by the rotation of the motor. Furthermore, since both regular and electric toothbrushes use bristles made of materials such as silicone, the bristles wear down over time, leading to a decline in cleaning power and brushing sensation. However, unless one is a professional, it is difficult to know exactly when to replace the toothbrush or bristles, so they are often not replaced at the appropriate time. Furthermore, when using infrared rays for oral sterilization and teeth whitening, efficient sterilization and whitening effects cannot be achieved due to factors such as the position of the light irradiation. Meanwhile, although various mouthpiece-type electric toothbrushes have been introduced in the past, they were uniformly designed with an "H-shaped" cross-section of the mouthpiece, allowing for the simultaneous cleaning of both upper and lower teeth. However, this structure had the problem of being unable to effectively remove food debris and plaque stuck between the upper and lower teeth. FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush according to an example. FIG. 2 is a drawing showing the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush of FIG. 1 rotated 180 degrees in the axial direction. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the mouthpiece portion of the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush of FIG. 1. Figure 4 is a diagram showing the manner in which the transverse bristles and longitudinal bristles of the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush of Figure 1 come into contact with the maxillary teeth and mandibular teeth, respectively. Hereinafter, an embodiment of a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. In describing the present invention, if it is determined that adding specific descriptions of technologies or configurations already known in the field may obscure the essence of the invention, such details may be partially omitted from the detailed description. Furthermore, the terms used in this specification are used to appropriately describe the embodiments of the present invention, and these may vary depending on relevant persons or conventions in the field. Accordingly, the definitions of these terms should be based on the content throughout this specification. The technical terms used herein are for the reference of specific embodiments only and are not intended to limit the invention. The singular forms used herein include plural forms unless phrases clearly indicate otherwise. The meaning of “comprising” as used in the specification specifies a particular characteristic, area, integer, step, action, element, and/or component, and does not exclude the presence or addition of other particular characteristic, area, integer, step, action, element, component, and/or group. Figure 1 is a drawing showing a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush according to an example. As shown in FIG. 1, a U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush (1) comprises a handle portion (10), a mouthpiece portion (20), and a connecting portion (100). The handle portion (10) may be a rod made of a hard material such as synthetic resin. In this case, the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush (1) allows the user to brush their teeth by moving it left and right. Meanwhile, according to an embodiment, the handle portion (10) may include a vibration motor, a control circuit, and a power supply inside, and transmit the vibration of the vibration motor to the mouthpiece portion (20) through the connection portion (100). In this case, the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush (1) becomes a “U-shaped mouthpiece type electric toothbrush” that assists the user in brushing their teeth by means of vibration generated from the handle portion (10). Figure 2 is a drawing of the U-shaped mouthpiece type toothbrush of Figure 1 rotated 180 degrees in the axial direction. As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of plates (210) with bristles (220) implanted therein are attached to the mouthpiece portion (20). T
