Description

Method and Apparatus for Providing Driving Evaluation Information Based on Sections The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for providing segment-based driving evaluation information. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for providing segment-based driving evaluation information through gamification. Gamification refers to a method of utilizing game elements to promote user participation and motivate them. For example, active user participation can be encouraged through gamification that introduces game elements such as scores, rewards, challenges, rankings, and levels. A navigation system may include a device that guides a route to enable a user to travel to a destination and provides real-time traffic information. The aforementioned background technology is technical information that the inventor possessed for the derivation of the present invention or acquired during the process of deriving the present invention, and it cannot be considered as prior art disclosed to the general public prior to the filing of this disclosure. FIGS. 1 to 3 are drawings for explaining an autonomous driving method according to one embodiment. FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a section entry notification that can be provided by a section-based driving evaluation information providing device according to one embodiment. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of a preliminary guide that can be provided by a section-based driving evaluation information providing device according to one embodiment. FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of driving evaluation information that can be provided by a section-based driving evaluation information providing device according to one embodiment. FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating a method in which a section-based driving evaluation information providing device according to one embodiment provides section-based driving evaluation information. FIG. 8 is a block diagram of a section-based driving evaluation information providing device according to one embodiment. The present disclosure is capable of various modifications and may have various embodiments; specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in the detailed description. The effects and features of the present disclosure and the methods for achieving them will become clear by referring to the embodiments described below in detail together with the drawings.
