KR20260066478AKR 20260066478 AKR20260066478 AKR 20260066478AKR-20260066478-A

Abstract

The present invention relates to a left-turn auxiliary signal light positioned at the left end of a plurality of auxiliary signal lights that are installed on a cross beam connected to a support and flash in conjunction with the signal of a main signal light, and which flashes only in conjunction with the left-turn signal of the main signal light. To this end, the invention comprises: a case with one side open; a plurality of LED substrates inserted longitudinally into the interior of the case; a plurality of LED chips mounted in clusters in the shape of left-turn arrows on the LED substrates; an elastic member interposed at both ends of the case to elastically and securely fix the LED substrates without a separate connecting piece; and a cover plate coupled to the open side of the case to seal the LED substrates, wherein each of the LED substrates is electrically connected to one another through a male/female connector.

  1. In a left-turn auxiliary signal light positioned at the left end among a plurality of auxiliary signal lights installed on a horizontal beam connected to a support and flashing in conjunction with the signal of a main signal light, which flashes in conjunction only with the left-turn signal of the main signal light, A case (10) with one side open; A plurality of LED substrates (20) inserted longitudinally inside the above case (10); A plurality of LED chips (30) mounted in clusters in the shape of left-turning arrows on the LED substrate (20); An elastic member (40) interposed at both ends of the above case (10) to elastically secure the LED substrate (20) without a separate connecting piece; and A cover plate (50) coupled to an open side of the case (10) so as to seal the LED substrate (20); A left-turn auxiliary signal light characterized in that each of the above LED boards (20) is electrically connected to one another through a male/female connector (21).
  2. In paragraph 1, A left turn auxiliary signal light characterized by each of the above LED boards (20) further including a constant current board (22) bolted to the lower portion with a gap nut (23) in between.
  3. In paragraph 1, On the upper part of each of the above LED substrates (20) A separator (60) is installed to partition the edge of the clustered arrow with LED chips (30), The above separator (60) is characterized by reducing the diffusion of light emitted from a plurality of LED chips (30) clustered in the shape of a left-turn arrow and improving the straightness of the light so that a vehicle driver can easily identify the left-turn signal even at a long distance and in weather conditions with poor visibility (fog, snow, rain).
  4. In paragraph 3, The above separator (60) An outer plate (61) in which LED chips (30) are clustered and installed upright along the edge of a left-turning arrow, and A left-turn auxiliary signal light characterized by being composed of a plurality of fixing plates (62) that are connected in parallel to the upper and lower parts of the outer plate (61) and stably fix the outer plate (61) inside the case (10).
  5. In paragraph 4, On the inner wall surface of the above case (10) A left-turn auxiliary signal light characterized by having a plurality of slide grooves (14) formed therein that can slide-couple each of the above-mentioned fixed plate portions (62).
  6. In paragraph 3, The left turn auxiliary signal light is characterized by the separator (60) being spaced apart and installed on the upper part of each LED board (20).

Description

Left Turn Auxiliary Signal The present invention relates to a left-turn auxiliary signal light, and more specifically, to a left-turn auxiliary signal light installed on a cross beam connected to a support pole to facilitate identification of the main signal light by a vehicle driver, positioned at the left end among a plurality of auxiliary signal lights that flash in conjunction with the main signal light and the signal, and flashing in conjunction only with the left-turn signal. Generally, the purpose of the automobile as a means of transportation is to facilitate user convenience. Under this objective, the automobile is transcending the level of a mere means of transport and is becoming an indispensable element for both personal and social life, with its importance growing day by day. Following this social trend, the number of automobiles owned has continued to increase, and in our case, it has long since exceeded 10 million. As mentioned above, as the number of automobiles increased day by day, a situation arose where human resources alone could not possibly control traffic flow, so traffic lights were developed to control traffic flow more effectively. These traffic lights can be classified into traffic lights that control the flow of vehicles and pedestrian lights that control the flow of pedestrians. Traffic lights configured in this way can be considered a highly useful technology in terms of functionality, as they effectively control traffic flow to ensure the safety of both vehicles and pedestrians. Meanwhile, traffic lights, as described above, indicate traffic conditions using color for safe traffic order, and the colors displayed by these lights consist of three colors: red, green, and yellow. In these traffic lights, red (red light) indicates a stop signal, green (green light) indicates a proceed signal, and yellow light indicates caution, but in road traffic, it is also used to mean to detour. The traffic signal for vehicles as described above is typically composed of a support post installed upright on the roadside of an intersection or crosswalk, and a crossbeam installed transversely from the support post in the direction of the road to support the signal. However, relying solely on traffic lights often results in situations where drivers cannot see the signal instructions. For instance, this occurs when the signal displayed on the light is obscured by clutter around the traffic light, such as utility poles or street trees. In particular, Korea has many curved roads, and drivers sometimes fail to perceive the presence or status of traffic lights from a distance because the curves obscure them, occasionally resulting in accidents involving injuries or fatalities. Furthermore, on dark nights, red signals are sometimes indistinguishable from vehicle headlights, which can also lead to accidents. Considering the above-mentioned problems, the applicant has proposed a "traffic light interlocking auxiliary signal device (Republic of Korea Registered Patent No. 10-2348793)" installed on poles and crossbeams. However, there was a problem in that, in addition to straight-left signals, independent left-turn signals could not be displayed using conventional auxiliary signal devices. In addition, conventional auxiliary signaling devices had a problem where the light from the LEDs mounted on the LED substrate was diffused, resulting in poor visibility at long distances and in adverse weather conditions (fog, snow, rain).
