Description
Apparatus and Method for Selling Tickets The present invention relates to a ticket sales method, and more specifically, to a ticket sales method that requires user authentication during the ticket purchase step. With the widespread adoption of the internet in the IT era and the expansion of the performance market, the distribution structure of performance tickets has also undergone changes. Consequently, the concept of computerized ticketing systems was introduced, and specialized ticket distribution companies emerged. The introduction of integrated computerized ticketing systems revitalized the performance market, while the increasing number of ticket sales agencies, driven by various companies seeking business diversification through ticket sales, has led to a complex and multifaceted evolution of the ticket distribution system. Although the increase in ticket sales agencies and direct ticketing systems at national and public performance venues has the advantages of expanding consumer choice and diversifying marketing through competition among agencies, the improved accessibility to ticket purchases has led to the emergence of scalpers who generate profit by using macro programs to purchase large quantities of performance tickets and resell them. Therefore, there is a need for a system that allows legitimate ticket buyers to purchase tickets smoothly.
