Description
Exercise equipment for shoulder and elbow The present invention relates to an exercise device for the shoulder and elbow, and more specifically, to an exercise device that assists the movement of elderly people or patients with limited arm mobility, thereby enabling them to easily perform shoulder and elbow exercises. As prior art regarding shoulder and elbow exercise equipment, Korean Published Patent Application No. 10-2014-0006436 (published Jan. 16, 2014, hereinafter referred to as 'prior art') "Exercise equipment for shoulder physical therapy" is disclosed. The above prior art relates to "an exercise device for shoulder physical therapy characterized by having an exercise rod that is supported by a support portion and folded in multiple stages, with one end supported by the support portion and the other end positioned at the front part corresponding to the user's eyes so that the user can grasp it, and having a rotatable handle that allows the user to perform arm rotation movements while the user is facing forward, wherein the exercise rod has one or more joint portions so that arm internal/external rotation movements and arm elevation movements can be performed while holding the handle." This technology allows the user to easily adjust the position of the arm exercise device according to physical conditions such as the user's height or arm length, and enables the user to perform arm rotation movements, arm elevation movements, and arm internal rotation movements on their own without external assistance. However, the aforementioned prior art has a complex structure in which the movement rod is bent in multiple stages and has multiple joints, making it difficult to manufacture and assemble, and there is a problem that it requires a large manufacturing cost because multiple motors must be provided to drive each joint.
