Abstract

The present invention relates to an automated system and method that allows a user to securely obtain their own phone number with minimal operation (without entering a phone number). In particular, the present invention transmits unique identification information generated in an app within a user terminal to a service site via an SMS message, thereby enabling the user's phone number to be obtained (authenticated) conveniently and securely. This invention significantly improves user convenience by enabling users to complete phone number authentication with a single action (button click) without the need for separate phone number or authentication code entry procedures. In addition, transmitted data is encrypted, thereby enhancing personal information protection and security. This system is applicable to various industries requiring phone number acquisition (authentication), such as finance, e-commerce, delivery services, and mobile games, and provides industrial and commercial value by reducing user churn rates caused by the inconvenience of entering phone numbers and increasing the efficiency of the authentication process.

Description

Method for Automatic Collection and Authentication of User Phone Numbers via SMS Method for Automatic Collection and Authentication of User Phone Numbers via SMS Method for Automatic Collection and Authentication of User Phone Numbers via SMS The present invention relates to a system and method for conveniently obtaining and authenticating a user's phone number, and more particularly to a business method that can collect and authenticate a phone number from a user with minimal operation using a mobile terminal and a communication network. The present invention includes various technical components such as mobile communication, mobile applications, data encryption and transmission, and communication networks, and relates to the construction of a system that enables a service provider to efficiently and securely acquire and authenticate user information (phone number). Therefore, the present invention belongs to the technical field of communication technology, network-based authentication, and user information collection and protection. Existing service providers have primarily used user input and SMS authentication methods to verify and authenticate users' phone numbers. This method requires the user to manually enter their phone number, for the server to send an authentication code to that number, and for the user to enter it again. This process is somewhat complex and can be cumbersome for users, and there is also a possibility of input errors. While some systems attempt user authentication via QR codes or other link methods, these methods still lack convenience as they require multiple steps from the user. In particular, there is a lack of efficient methods that allow users to share their phone numbers with minimal action in mobile environments. The technical field to which this invention belongs relates to technologies such as mobile authentication, SMS-based information collection, data encryption, and transmission, and various methods have been researched to improve user convenience and strengthen information security. However, existing methods still have the problem of degrading the user experience by requiring complex authentication procedures and numerous user actions. [Fig. 1] Overall flowchart of the invention This is a flowchart illustrating the entire process of the present invention, showing a procedure in which a user transmits their phone number to a service site and authenticates it through a single action (button click). It includes each step consisting of the generation of unique app information, SMS transmission, reception and analysis of data by the service site, and completion of authentication. [Fig. 2] Generating unique app information to send SMS and minimize user actions It demonstrates the process of a user completing an SMS transmission with a single click and the procedure for transmitting the data contained in the SMS to a service site in an encrypted state. It explains how phone numbers are securely transmitted with minimal user action. The present invention provides an automated system that enables a user to transmit their phone number to a service site and authenticate it in a single operation. Specific components and procedures for implementing this are as follows. 1. Create and save unique app information When a user installs the app of the present invention and completes the initial setup, the app generates unique identification information for that user. This identification information is used to perform user authentication on a service site in conjunction with the user's phone number. Unique identification information is securely stored within the app in an encrypted state and protected from external exposure. This unique information is subsequently transmitted in an encrypted form along with the user's phone number during SMS messages. 2. User Actions and SMS Sending When a user wants to use a service that requires phone number verification, the app automatically generates an SMS message containing the phone number of a pre-configured service site and unique identification information. Users can send an SMS with a single click of the send button within the app. When the user clicks the button, the app automatically sends the SMS, allowing the user to conveniently proceed with the authentication process without any separate input. SMS messages are transmitted in an encrypted form and securely contain unique identification information and the user's phone number. 3. Data reception and analysis at the service site The service site receives SMS messages sent by the user and analyzes the unique identification information and phone number. The received SMS messages are decoded through the service site's data analysis module, thereby extracting the user's phone number. The service site automatically creates a user account or links it to an existing account by linking unique identification information with a phone number. This process is completed automatically without the us
