Description

Reseller-Friendly E-Commercial System and Method of Operation Thereof The present disclosure relates to a reseller-friendly e-commerce system and a method of operating the same. With the recent rapid growth of e-commerce, the importance of resellers is on the rise. Resellers act as intermediaries, purchasing products directly from manufacturers or general distributors or selling them to customers on their behalf, and generate revenue through sales on various platforms. In particular, as the development of social media and mobile shopping has enabled customized marketing targeting diverse customer segments, market accessibility and flexibility for resellers are increasingly becoming critical competitive factors. There are several key differences between resellers and general distributors. General distributors purchase large volumes and primarily supply B2B products through offline channels or their own platforms, whereas resellers handle a diverse range of products on a small scale and engage in direct transactions with customers mainly online. General distributors manage inventory directly and play the role of supplying products stably through distribution networks, whereas resellers have the advantage of utilizing various platforms to sell products quickly and immediately incorporate customer feedback. Therefore, resellers have a strong advantage in responding to rapidly changing consumer trends and differ significantly in that they focus on small-batch orders and individual sales. The need for reseller-friendly e-commerce systems is emerging due to the characteristics of resellers and changes in the market. Since resellers must rapidly update their diverse products and respond agilely to customer demands, an e-commerce system that supports these capabilities is essential. Unlike typical large-scale distribution systems, reseller-friendly systems must be equipped with features for efficiently managing small-scale transactions, exclusive product sourcing, real-time order management, convenient payment systems, and fast shipping options. Furthermore, by providing customized services tailored to each reseller's marketing and sales characteristics, these systems should support resellers in communicating more closely with customers and enhancing their competitiveness.
