Description

Hand rest for nail treatment The present invention relates to a hand rest for nail procedures, and more specifically, to a hand rest for nail procedures formed to have a certain height to support the hand of the customer receiving the procedure, as well as to position the fingernail at a height as close as possible to the practitioner's eyes. Generally, when performing nail art, basic grooming such as trimming the nails is performed, as well as nail trimming such as cuticle removal; however, during such nail trimming, nail or cuticles may occur. At this time, since nail art is usually performed in confined spaces such as beauty salons where many people sit and receive treatment or care, nail clippings or cuticles fall to the floor or fly into the air during the treatment or care process, causing not only hygiene issues but also unsightly problems. Therefore, in response to the demand for improved hygiene and the environment, there is a need for not only interiors but also equipment that consider hygiene and environmental aspects. Meanwhile, a device capable of sucking up and collecting foreign substances generated during hand beauty treatments, including conventional nail art procedures, has been developed; for example, Patent Registration No. 10-1527318 and Patent Publication No. 10-2018-0118955 are disclosed. Conventional technologies, including the aforementioned patent, focus only on effectively collecting dust generated during nail polishing and do not pay attention to the fatigue or difficulties of the operator. In other words, during a typical nail procedure, the client usually places their hand on a hand care device. In this case, the practitioner performs the procedure with their head bent down as much as possible because the client's hand is positioned relatively lower. Consequently, the practitioner is at a high risk of developing occupational diseases such as musculoskeletal disorders resulting from shoulder stiffness, soreness, and forward head posture, and problems such as reduced work efficiency arise due to this posture. Therefore, there is a need to develop technology that allows the patient to rest their hand comfortably and positions the patient's fingernails at the operator's eye level, thereby minimizing or resolving work-related difficulties or the aforementioned occupational diseases. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a hand rest for nail treatment according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a hand rest for nail treatment according to the present invention. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a support tube unfolded to explain a guide rail that guides the movement of a height adjustment projection according to the present invention. FIG. 4a is a diagram showing the hand support portion at its maximum height by positioning the height adjustment projection according to the present invention at the uppermost position. FIG. 4a is a diagram showing a hand support portion at an intermediate height by positioning the height adjustment projection according to the present invention in the middle. FIG. 4a is a diagram showing the hand support portion at the lowest height by positioning the height adjustment projection according to the present invention at the lowest side. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing a support plate installed to provide cushioning action by an elastic member according to the present invention. Figure 6 is a state in which the collection bin is partially withdrawn from Figure 1. Hereinafter, a hand rest for nail procedures according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. As described above, the hand rest for nail treatment according to the present invention is a device for supporting the hand of a customer receiving nail treatment, as well as for effectively collecting foreign substances such as dust generated from a portion of the nail or from the polishing of the nail during the nail treatment process. The hand rest for nail treatment according to the present invention comprises a collection container (10), a body (20) in which the collection container (10) is housed, a support tube (30) coupled to the upper part of the body, a foreign matter collection guide (40) provided on the inner side of the support tube (30), a hand rest (50) coupled to the upper part of the support tube (30), and a suction fan (60) provided inside the hand rest (50). The body (20) is formed as a cylinder or a cuboid with one side open, and is configured so that the collection container (10) is inserted through the open side and accommodated inside, and an inlet (21) is formed on the upper side to communicate with the collection container (10) accommodated inside. The collection container (10) is configured to collect foreign substances including dust generated from parts of the nails or from the polishing of the nails during nail treatment, and a handle is formed on the outer surface to allow the collection container (
