Description
Water purifier equipped with filter detection sensor The present invention relates to a water purifier equipped with a filter detection sensor. More specifically, the invention relates to a water purifier equipped with a filter detection sensor that accurately and stably detects the connection status of a water purification filter through the filter detection sensor, and automatically blocks the water dispensing function when the water purification filter is not connected, thereby preventing the dispensing of unpurified water or water overflowing inside the water purifier, and enabling more stable use. Due to rapid industrial development in recent years, environmental pollution has been worsening. Among these issues, water pollution has reached a critical level, to the point where the majority of places, including households and government offices, are purifying water for drinking. Water purifiers are used in households to purify water. Generally, water purifiers are connected to water supply pipes to automatically receive raw water, filter the water through an internal filter device, and discharge it through an outlet. Unlike water purifiers used in homes, raw water cannot be supplied through water pipes in spaces such as offices where water supply pipes are not installed; therefore, water purifiers have been developed for use in such limited spaces. This water purifier is structured so that the user directly supplies raw water to the internal water tank, filters the water stored in the tank through a water purification filter, and discharges it through the outlet. This water purifier is configured so that when the raw water stored in the tank is used up, the user supplies fresh raw water to the tank using a water bottle or the like, and the user also replaces the water filter at regular intervals. The replacement of the water purification filter involves removing the used filter and inserting a new one. However, if the water dispensing button is operated accidentally after the old filter has been removed but before the new one is inserted, water will be supplied from the tank to the outlet. Since there is no filter present, water may leak through the connection point, potentially causing the surrounding environment to become wet or the water purifier to malfunction. Furthermore, if water is dispensed through the outlet without a filter, unfiltered water is released, posing a threat to the user's health. Therefore, there is a need for a safety device that prevents water from the tank from being discharged through the outlet even if the user operates the water discharge button when the water purification filter is removed, such as during water purification filter replacement.
