Abstract

There are many fields of transportation system services based on ITS convergence technology. The development and operation of each of these systems is... While it is very helpful, an ITS integration program is necessary for more efficient management. When developing the integrated ITS program, we apply the latest technologies of big data and deep learning to the overall program structure, rather than a patchwork approach. It is to develop a program by researching everything related to operations and the management of field equipment.

Description

Integrated ITS construction system including autonomous driving This invention is in the field of technology related to traffic control systems as an Intelligent Transport System. Intelligent Transportation Systems can provide various services to the public. Key systems include signal control, advanced traffic management and urban traffic information, and bus management (ATMS, UTIS, BIS). Related systems include CCTV, smart intersections, traffic information collection devices, smart crossing for the vulnerable, Variable Message Signs (VMS), and Bus Information Terminals (BIT). In addition to this, many transportation-related systems, technologies, and equipment are continuously being developed. This is a technology regarding the development of a system that establishes these traffic system-related contents into a single integrated ITS. According to the 2013 Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport C-ITS technology trend survey, ITS convergence technology-based services can be classified into 5 major categories and 16 medium categories. Although Korea's implementation status lagged behind that of the United States, Europe, and Japan, it can be said that it has recently caught up. However, while various related services are actively provided in some regions, the level of adoption nationwide is still significantly lacking. Implementing them under an integrated system rather than introducing individual systems is for system development companies. Since it allows for a sense of direction from this perspective, unnecessary trial and error can be reduced, and problems during the post-integration process can be prevented in advance. Data collection, analysis, and classification for the overall configuration of each system development corresponding to the major, medium, and minor categories of ITS convergence technology-based services must be carried out in advance, and each system development must be designed to operate integrally, and designed to allow the application of technologies such as big data and deep learning. In addition, preliminary guidelines regarding the standardization and compatibility issues of on-site equipment must be established and implemented. Traffic information is collected by field equipment such as traffic control CCTVs, traffic information point detectors (VDS), section detectors (DSRC-RSE), and UTIS-RSE, and section traffic information is collected from DSRC-RSEs installed at each major point and hi-pass terminals installed in vehicles, and then processed and provided by the traffic information center. The emergency vehicle priority signal system is an information center-based method in which, when an emergency vehicle transmits its dispatch point and destination to the traffic information center via GPS navigation, the optimal route is selected and green signals are assigned to all signal controllers along the route. Smart intersections detect traffic objects from cameras installed in each direction and use tracking algorithms and deep learning-based video analysis algorithms. In addition to this, it is important to optimally apply the program that operates various other systems to the integrated program. Along with such system integration, the most critical aspect of introducing autonomous driving is security. In autonomous vehicles, information from the traffic system is transmitted to the vehicle, and AI, rather than the driver, analyzes and makes decisions; however, if an error occurs in the traffic system, which is one of the information sources, very dangerous situations can arise.
