Description

Method, Apparatus and System for Providing Return Merchandise Authorization Service The present invention relates to a method, apparatus, and system for providing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) services. More specifically, it relates to a method and apparatus for providing RMA services based on artificial intelligence using a shared warehouse and robots, etc. The following description merely provides background information related to the present embodiment and does not constitute prior art. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a subfield of computer science that aims to artificially replicate human learning, reasoning, and perceptual abilities. An AI system is a computer system that achieves human-level intelligence, and unlike existing rule-based smart systems, it is a system in which machines learn and make decisions on their own. Existing rule-based smart systems are gradually being replaced by deep learning-based AI systems. Recently, such artificial intelligence systems are being utilized to provide Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) services. RMA is a service that product sellers are required to offer to consumers, enabling them to receive refunds, replacements, or repairs for products they have purchased. In cases where regular inspections and maintenance are necessary to ensure normal operation and frequent after-sales service is required, consumers often lack the knowledge and understanding of these products, necessitating the assistance of experts. When RMA service experts are unable to accurately determine the cause of a product failure, there is a problem in that it takes a significant amount of time to identify and repair the defect. Furthermore, the inconsistency in the cost of parts and repairs used for RMA services can lead to consumer distrust regarding the fees. Accordingly, there is a need to utilize artificial intelligence to provide RMA services efficiently and present reasonable costs to consumers.
