KR-20260067250-A - Lift device using the boom of a forklift
Abstract
The present invention relates to a lift device utilizing a forklift boom, which enables convenient handling, such as transporting or loading heavy cargo in confined spaces where a forklift cannot enter, by selectively using a clamping bar that adjusts its position by sliding motion and a hanging bar that adjusts its position by swing motion on a carriage that moves up and down on a mast provided at the front of the forklift so as to protrude horizontally forward, thereby allowing large cargo to be clamped or suspended depending on the working situation. Specifically, a boom is installed to protrude horizontally forward on a carriage that moves up and down on the mast of the forklift, replacing the forks that support the cargo; a pair of blocks are installed facing each other on the boom, with their spacing adjusted by sliding along the longitudinal direction by the operation of a cylinder; and a clamping bar that lifts while supporting frames provided on both sides of a cargo packaging box is attached to each block, and a sling belt bound to the cargo is hooked onto the block to lift it. Each one is equipped with a hanger.

A lift device using a forklift boom, characterized in that the clamping member (22) provided in the above block (20) is coupled to enable straight movement in a direction orthogonal to the boom (10) which is in the form of a cantilever, and is positioned on one side of the boom (10) by the operator's selection, and the hook member (23) is positioned on one side of the boom (10) while swinging in the upper space starting from the pin shaft (24) fixed to the center of the boom (10), and the clamping member (22) is configured such that one is placed at the top and one at the bottom on the same vertical line so as to stably contact the frame of the cargo packaging box.
Description
Lift device using the boom of a forklift The present invention relates to a lift device using a forklift boom, and more specifically, to a lift device using a forklift boom that allows for convenient handling, such as transporting or loading heavy cargo in narrow spaces where a forklift cannot enter, by combining a boom mounted to protrude horizontally forward on a carriage that moves up and down from a mast provided at the front of the forklift, and a clamping bar that changes position by sliding motion and a hanging bar that changes position by swing motion, so that large cargo can be clamped or suspended by selectively using them according to the work situation. Generally, forklifts used in various industrial sites are essential equipment specialized for loading cargo and moving it to a desired location, and are structured with forks that support the cargo mounted on a carriage that moves up and down along a front mast. Since these forklifts had limitations in that they could only perform desired operations when the forks equipped at the front were adjacent to the cargo to be loaded or transported, provided that entry and exit of the vehicle were secured, there was a problem in that operations were fundamentally impossible in narrow spaces where entry and exit of the forklift was impossible or when the forks at the front could not reach the cargo. As an example of the above problem, large plate glass, which relies on imports, is transported in cargo containers after being packaged in multiple sheets. Forklifts were used to load or unload the plate glass packs from the container, but due to the limited space, the movement of the forklift was extremely restricted, and because the volume of the cargo was excessive, balance was lost when loading onto the forks. Consequently, there was a problem where the utilization of the forklift decreased as a crane suitable for the task was used in this case. FIG. 1 is a side view showing a boom and a lift device mounted on a forklift of the present invention. FIGS. 2a and 2b are perspective views showing the conversion operation of the clamping plate and the conversion operation of the hanging plate, respectively, with the lift device separated. FIG. 3 is a side view of the lift device, FIGS. 4a and 4b are side configuration diagrams showing examples of use of a lift device utilizing the boom of a forklift according to the present invention. Hereinafter, the lift device using the boom of the forklift of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings as follows. FIG. 1 is a side view showing a boom and a lift device mounted on a forklift of the present invention, and FIG. 2a and 2b are perspective views showing the conversion operation of a clamping bar and a conversion operation of a hanging bar with the lift device separated. The present invention relates to a lift device in which a boom (10) is mounted horizontally protruding forward instead of a fork supporting a cargo on a carriage (C) that moves up and down on a mast (M) provided on the front of a forklift, and a cargo can be clamped or hung on the boom. In the boom (10), a pair of blocks (20) are installed facing each other, with the spacing between them adjusted by sliding along the longitudinal direction of the boom by the operation of a cylinder (21). Each block (20) is equipped with a clamping member (22) that lifts the frame provided on both sides of the cargo packaging box while supporting it, and a hook member (23) that lifts the sling belt (30) attached to the cargo by hooking it onto it. At this time, it is preferable that the clamping members (22) be arranged one each at the top and bottom on the same vertical line so as to stably contact the frame of the cargo packaging box. The clamping member (22) provided in the block (20) is coupled to enable straight movement in a direction orthogonal to the boom (10) which is in the form of a cantilever, and is positioned on one side of the boom (10) by the worker's selection, and the hook member (23) is structured to be positioned on one side of the boom (10) while swinging in the upper space starting from the pin shaft (24) fixed to the center of the boom (10). That is, a pair of blocks (20) installed on the boom (10) drive the cylinder (21) according to the size of the cargo to adjust the distance between the two blocks, and then selectively use either the clamping bar (22) or the hanging bar (23) to transport and load the cargo. FIG. 3 is a side view of the lift device, and FIG. 4a and 4b are side configurations showing examples of use of the lift device using the boom of the forklift of the present invention. When performing the task of transporting and loading large plate glass packs in a narrow place where a forklift cannot access or in a cargo container, the boom (10) mounted in a cantilevered form on the carriage (C) is brought in and raised and lowered along the mast (M), and the spacing of a pair of blocks (20) installed
