Abstract

A system and method for determining a health status and recommending customized health functional foods based on a user's health status and lifestyle habits are disclosed. The system comprises: a database server in which information regarding health functional foods is stored in advance; a user terminal for uploading user data; and a service server that refers to the database server to recommend health functional foods based on user data uploaded from the user terminal and provides them to the user terminal. According to the above-described system and method for determining a health status and recommending customized health functional foods based on a user's health status and lifestyle habits, by analyzing the user's health status or lifestyle habits to determine the user's health status and recommending health functional foods optimized for the user, the system is configured to enable the user to select the most beneficial and necessary health functional foods and to guide the user not to select health functional foods that are harmful or useless.

Description

System for Determining Health Status and Recommending Personalized Dietary Supplements Based on User Health Status and Lifestyle Habits and Method The present invention relates to a system and method for determining health status and recommending customized health functional foods, and more specifically, to a system and method for determining health status and recommending customized health functional foods based on a user's health status and lifestyle habits. Interest in health is continuously increasing due to the rise in various infectious diseases, including the COVID-19 virus, as well as rapid aging. Interest in various functional ingredients and health functional foods, such as Coenzyme Q10, red ginseng, and Chlorella, is also increasing. With this growing interest in health, the types and number of functional ingredients and health functional foods are increasing exponentially. Products targeting diverse demographics, such as children, the elderly, and patients, are flooding the market. However, there is a problem in that consumers' health choices are inevitably limited because most of these products are supplied based on producers or marketing rather than product development that considers appropriate intake levels with guaranteed safety and functionality. In particular, because physical characteristics such as health or disease status differ among consumers, each consumer must select the optimal functional ingredient or health functional food for themselves. However, there is a problem in that consumers lack accurate information regarding their various selection criteria, which may lead them to make choices that are harmful or useless to their health.
