Abstract

The present invention relates to a zipper equipped with a magnet, and more specifically, to a zipper equipped with a magnet that allows for easy operation by engaging and coupling with a magnet attached to the lower part of a slider and a protrusion, even in cases where the movement of a young child, the elderly, or those with limited arm or hand movement is restricted. The zipper equipped with a magnet according to the present invention comprises: a tape for connecting the magnet and sewing; a slider attached to one side of the tape that a user can grasp and lift; protrusions attached to both sides of the tape that engage or disengage as the slider passes over them; an upper part attached to the protrusions to prevent the slider from slipping out; and a magnet that enables the protrusions to engage easily. The magnet attached to the slider has a groove in the center and engages and combines with the magnet attached to the lower part of the protrusions.

Description

Zipper with magnet The present invention relates to a device and method for facilitating the operation of a zipper slider by utilizing a magnet. Zippers, which are widely used in various products such as clothing, bags, and shoes, are regarded as an important means of locking that considers user convenience and safety; however, most of these zippers present a problem in that they are difficult for certain people, such as young children and the elderly, to operate. Accordingly, while there have been proposals for self-aligning zippers such as application number 10-2014-7009373 and ?J, the aforementioned prior art requires precise alignment of magnets and other parts, which necessitates a high level of manufacturing precision and can lead to complex production processes. Additionally, there may be issues regarding the need for additional processes to attach magnets or ensure their safety, which can increase production time and costs. Furthermore, since magnets can generate static electricity or interfere with other metal objects, potentially causing inconvenience during use, it is difficult to consider this as completely resolving user discomfort. Drawing 1 is a perspective view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is a side view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 is a side view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Figure 4 is a front view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Figure 5 is a rear view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Figure 6 is a plan view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Drawing 7 is a bottom view of a zipper equipped with a magnet according to a modified embodiment of the present invention. The present invention is designed for young children, the elderly, or those with limited arm or hand movement who find zipper operation difficult. It comprises a tape (10) that connects the slider and the protrusions to form an overall structure, allowing the zipper to operate properly; a slider (20) that closes the protrusions by bringing them into contact with each other when pulled upward, and opens when pulled downward; protrusions (30) that interlock or separate as the slider passes over them; a lower limb (40) attached to the bottom of the protrusions to prevent the slider from slipping out; an upper limb (50) attached to the top of the protrusions to prevent the slider from slipping out; and a magnet (60) attached to the bottom of the protrusions and the slider to facilitate easy coupling of the protrusions. Below, we will examine the operation process of the present invention composed of the above-described configuration. The slider (20) is made of a durable material to provide smooth and stable operation. It aligns the protrusions (30) and helps the user close the zipper easily. The above tape (10) provides structural support, and the above protrusions (30) are made of metal or plastic to maintain a stable connection. The present invention can be usefully employed by various users by increasing ease of use. The zipper equipped with a magnet according to the present invention is not limited to the aforementioned embodiment, but can be implemented with various modifications within the scope permissible by the technical concept of the present invention.
