Description
Humidifying Air Purifier and Method for Controlling Thereof The disclosed invention relates to a humidifying air purifier capable of purifying air and simultaneously heating water to supply steam, and a method for controlling the same. Generally, a humidifier refers to a device that maintains the humidity of an indoor space at an appropriate level. A humidifier can vaporize water stored in a tank and discharge it into the indoor space. Various types of humidifiers, such as evaporative humidifiers, ultrasonic humidifiers, and heated humidifiers, exist on the market. Heated humidifiers can convert liquid water stored in a water tank into gaseous water vapor by heating it. The water tank may be provided inside the main body of the humidifier. A cover for opening and closing the water tank may be installed on the main body. Generally, the cover is installed on the top of the main body, and the water tank may be formed to open upwards. An air purifier can remove pollutants from the air and discharge clean air. An air purifier may include a purification device for purifying contaminated air. Air entering the air purifier can be purified into clean air as it passes through the purification device, and the purified air can be discharged to the outside of the air purifier.
