Abstract

The case comprises a housing and an end cover, the housing has an opening, the housing comprises a first wall, the first wall comprises a first opening and a first body portion sequentially distributed along a first direction, the first direction is parallel to the thickness direction of the end cover, the first body portion is separated from the opening with respect to the first opening, and the end cover is connected to the first opening and closes the opening; the electrode assembly is installed within the housing, the electrode assembly comprises a negative plate, and the negative plate comprises a negative active material. Herein, the negative active material comprises a silicon-based material, and the maximum thickness of the first opening is greater than the thickness of the first body portion.   1.
