Claims (20)

  1. Compact thermal insulation (KTI), containing thermal insulation blocks (TB) placed close to each other on the outer surface of the equipment to be insulated, including boxes joined together by longitudinal and side walls, made of stainless steel and filled with air,
  2. Each block is made of stainless sheet steel and consists of walls, a cover, a bottom and a set of coaxial cylindrical membranes with a thickness of 0.05-0.1 mm, located between adjacent shelves of internal corrugations and sealing arches and secured by an adjustable, easy assembly without the use of welding, with block dimensions:
  3. Where:
  4. Q - angle of coverage between the lateral inclined faces of the block body;
  5. n is the number of blocks placed on the surface of the perimeter 2 πr,
  6. C is the length of the arc of the outer surface of the block cover,
  7. R is the radius of the outer surface of the block cover,
  8. c is the length of the arc of the outer surface of the block bottom,
  9. r is the radius of the outer surface of the block bottom,
  10. H – block height;
  11. all membranes are made with their convexity directed towards the TB cover and are fastened together in a set with minimal gaps,
  12. The longitudinal side and end walls form corrugations located along the outer and inner perimeters of the block walls, creating closed external heat-insulating air gaps that shield the spread of heat,
  13. seals of cylindrical membranes, consisting of two halves, with internal corrugations of the block walls are made using elastic sealing arches, pre-fixed to the walls of the block corrugations,
  14. the sealing consoles of the arches are made with a variable gap of 0.1-0.3 mm, the membranes are installed end-to-end with the side and end walls of the block,
  15. For a tighter connection of the two halves of the membranes and their sealing with the walls of the block, adjusting screws are used,
  16. the reduction in the insulation thickness is achieved by using reflective membranes of radiant thermal energy and changing the rectilinear heat-conducting path of the end walls by using intra-casing cylindrical trays and cylindrical inserts connected by contact welding,
  17. the width of the cylindrical inserts inside the housing is in the range of 5-40 mm, and their thickness is in the range of 0.15-0.3 mm,
  18. the distance between flat cylindrical membranes is in the range of 4-15 mm,
  19. a thermostatic gap with a thickness of ≤5 mm as the primary insulating air gap of the annular section is installed between the bottom and the heat-insulated body using metal support heels welded to the bottom of the block,
  20. Access to possible sensors located on equipment under thermal insulation is achieved through cylindrical penetrations.
