- A method for preventing early embryonic death in mares with the absence or functional insufficiency of the corpus luteum, including intramuscular injections of progestamag and surfagon, characterized in that the administration of progestamag intramuscularly at a dose of 200 mg per 100 kg is carried out in the following regimen: every 48 hours until the 35th day of pregnancy, from the 35th to the 45th day - after 72 hours, from the 45th to the 65-70th day - after 96 hours in combination with an injection of surfagon once or twice at a dose of 50 mg in the presence of a follicle in the ovaries greater than 35 mm in diameter, to maintain the concentration of progesterone in the blood of mares at a level sufficient to maintain pregnancy on any day of the course.
