- A method for constructing the inlet edge of a centrifugal pump impeller blade, characterized in that, in order to ensure that flow enters the pump impeller without deviations and disturbances and to simplify the manufacturing technology of pump impellers, during solid-state design of a part, it is proposed to form the inlet edge of the blade by cutting (extruding) the blade edge with a geometric figure located in a plane passing through the line of the inlet angle of the blade and perpendicular to the plane of construction of the blade contour.
