Claims (20)

  1. 1. An anti-nectin-4 antibody, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, comprising a heavy chain variable region and a light chain variable region, wherein
  2. (a) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises HCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5; HCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 6; and HCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 7; the variable region of the light chain comprises LCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 8; LCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 9; and LCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 10;
  3. (b) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises HCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 15; HCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 16; and HCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 17; the variable region of the light chain comprises LCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 18; LCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 19; and LCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 20; or
  4. (c) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises HCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 25; HCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 26; and HCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 27; the variable region of the light chain comprises LCDR1 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 28; LCDR2 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 29; and LCDR3 with the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 30.
  5. 2. An anti-nectin-4 antibody, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, according to claim 1, comprising a heavy chain variable region and a light chain variable region, wherein:
  6. (a) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98% or 99% identity thereto, and the variable region of the light chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98% or 99% identity thereto;
  7. (b) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 13 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto, and the variable region of the light chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto; or
  8. (c) the variable region of the heavy chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 23 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98% or 99% identity thereto, and the variable region of the light chain comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 24 or a sequence having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98% or 99% identity thereto;
  9. for example, an anti-nectin-4 antibody or its antigen-binding fragment contains:
  10. (a) a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and a light chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4;
  11. (b) a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 13 and a light chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14; or
  12. (c) a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 23 and a light chain variable region comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 24;
  13. for example, an anti-nectin-4 antibody or its antigen-binding fragment contains:
  14. (a) the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto, and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto; for example, the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2;
  15. (b) the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 11 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto, and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 12 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto; for example, the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 11 and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 12; or
  16. (c) the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 21 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto, and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 22 or having at least 90%, 91%, 92%, 93%, 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 98%, or 99% identity thereto; for example, the heavy chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 21, and the light chain sequence of SEQ ID NO: 22.
  17. 3. An anti-nectin-4 antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the antigen-binding fragment is Fab, Fab', F(ab') 2 , Fv, single-chain Fv, single-chain Fab, or diabody.
  18. 4. An anti-nectin-4 antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, according to any one of claims 1-3, having one or more of the following properties:
  19. (a) is capable of specifically binding only to nectin-4, without specific binding to members of the nectin family, such as: nectin-1, nectin-2, nectin-3, nectin-like-1, nectin-like-2, nectin-like-3, nectin-like-4 and nectin-like-5, as determined by ELISA;
  20. (b) is capable of binding to the nectin-4 molecule expressed on cells, as determined by flow cytometry;
