Claims (20)
- 1. An analyte sensor characterized in that it contains
- at least one layer of a substrate, wherein the substrate comprises an inner portion and an outer portion,
- at least two electrodes located on the surface of the outer part for penetrating the skin to obtain information about the analyte parameter,
- contact pads, which are located on the surface of the outer part and are in electrical connection with the corresponding electrodes through wires,
- wherein at least one layer of insulating material is formed after manufacturing in at least one region of the surface of the substrate, and the insulating material is absent from the central conductive region of the contact pad and the electrode.
- 2. The analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that the region in which the insulating material is formed after manufacturing comprises at least the back side of the contact pad region and/or the back side of the electrode region.
- 3. An analyte sensor according to claim 2, characterized in that the inner part is bent relative to the outer part.
- 4. The analyte sensor according to claim 3, characterized in that the region in which the insulating material is formed after manufacturing also contains the front side of the bending region.
- 5. An analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that the insulating material is installed on the surface of the substrate by coating or gluing.
- 6. The analyte sensor of claim 1, wherein the substrate material and the insulating material are selected from one or more combinations of polytetrafluoroethylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate, and polyimide.
- 7. An analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that the thickness of the insulating material is 0.1-200 µm.
- 8. An analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that the electrode is an electrode matrix composed of electrode elements.
- 9. The analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a protective layer located on the surface of the substrate, which covers at least the edge of the electrode.
- 10. The analyte sensor according to claim 9, characterized in that the protective layer also covers the edges of the contact pad.
- 11. The analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that the substrate comprises at least two layers of a secondary substrate, wherein at least two electrodes are located on the secondary substrate of different layers.
- 12. The analyte sensor according to claim 11, characterized in that the secondary substrate of each layer is glued together into a single unit after preliminary manufacturing.
- 13. The analyte sensor according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one electrode is located on the back side of the substrate.
- 14. The analyte sensor according to claim 13, characterized in that at least one contact pad is located on the back side of the substrate.
- 15. The analyte sensor according to claim 14, characterized in that the front side of the substrate is also equipped with a secondary contact pad corresponding to the contact pad.
- 16. The analyte sensor according to claim 15, characterized in that the contact pad and the secondary contact pad are in electrical connection through the side of the substrate.
