Claims (20)

  1. 1. A hybrid disposable product for delivering an aerosol to a user, comprising:
  2. a tubular body comprising an upstream end and a downstream end, the tubular body defining a cavity;
  3. a capsule contained within a cavity of the tubular body, the capsule containing a dry powder; and
  4. a plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties contained in a cavity of the tubular body downstream of the capsule, wherein the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties contains nicotine and an aerosol forming substance, wherein the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties has an upstream end and a downstream end, and wherein the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties contains at least one air channel of the plug extending from the upstream end of the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties to the downstream end of the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties.
  5. 2. A hybrid consumable product according to claim 1, also comprising a mouthpiece portion located further downstream of the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties.
  6. 3. The hybrid consumable article of claim 2, wherein the tubular body comprises said mouthpiece portion.
  7. 4. The hybrid consumable of claim 3, wherein the mouthpiece portion comprises a curved or flanged downstream end.
  8. 5. A hybrid consumable product according to any one of paragraphs 2-4, in which the mouthpiece portion comprises a filter material.
  9. 6. A hybrid consumable article according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the plug of the organoleptic property carrier is contained in the cavity of the tubular body.
  10. 7. A hybrid consumable article according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one air passage of the organoleptic property carrier plug has a diameter of 250 microns or more.
  11. 8. A hybrid disposable product according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the dry powder contains nicotine particles.
  12. 9. The hybrid consumable article of claim 8, wherein the nicotine particles have an average particle size of from 1 to 200 microns in diameter, preferably from 1 to 10 microns in diameter.
  13. 10. A hybrid consumable article according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the aerosol forming agent comprises glycerin.
  14. 11. A hybrid consumable product according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the nicotine comprises tobacco, and wherein the tobacco comprises cut filler tobacco, molded leaf tobacco, film tobacco, or homogenized tobacco.
  15. 12. The hybrid consumable product of claim 9, wherein said at least one air passage of the plug has a diameter at least 5 times greater than the average particle size of nicotine.
  16. 13. The hybrid consumable product of claim 9, wherein the air passage of the plug comprises a surface of the air passage of the plug, and the surface of the air passage of the plug has a roughness that is less than the average particle size of nicotine.
  17. 14. A hybrid consumable article according to any of the preceding claims, also comprising a retaining disk between the capsule and the plug made of a carrier of organoleptic properties.
  18. 15. A system comprising:
  19. a hybrid consumable product according to any of the preceding paragraphs and
  20. a device comprising a cavity for accommodating a hybrid consumable, a heater, and a piercing mechanism, wherein the piercing mechanism comprises a needle.
