Claims (17)
- 1. A brake shoe (18) comprising a lining (20) and a lining holder (24), wherein the lining (20) is made of a friction material and has at least one groove (30, 32, 38, 40, 42) for collecting particles, wherein the lining holder (24) is connected to a surface (22B) of the lining (20), called a mounting surface, wherein between the lining holder (24) and the mounting surface (22B) of the lining (20) there is a space (29), characterized in that in the space (29) there is a sealing chamber (50) containing a suction channel (52) intended for fluid communication with a source of negative pressure, wherein at least one groove (30, 32, 38, 40, 42) for collecting particles contains a suction opening (44) that leads into the sealing chamber (50) and is fluidly connected to suction channel.
- 2. The brake shoe (18) according to claim 1, characterized in that the sealing chamber (50) is welded to the lining holder (24) and/or to the lining (20).
- 3. The brake shoe (18) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it also contains a connecting means (66) that connects the sealing chamber (50) to the lining holder (24) and/or to the lining (20).
- 4. A brake shoe (18) according to any one of paragraphs 1-3, characterized in that the sealing chamber (50) is pressed into the space (29) existing between the holder (24) of the lining and the mounting surface (22B) of the lining (24).
- 5. A brake shoe (18) according to any one of paragraphs 1-4, characterized in that the sealing chamber contains a nut (84) welded to the lining holder (24) and/or to the lining (20), wherein the nut contains an internal annular surface provided with an internal thread that complements the external thread on the external surface of the suction channel (52).
- 6. A brake shoe (18) according to any one of paragraphs 1-5, characterized in that the sealing chamber (50) includes a filler block (60) containing a cavity (62) fluidly connecting the suction opening (44) of at least one collection groove (30, 32, 38, 40, 42) with the suction channel (52).
- 7. The brake shoe (18) according to paragraph 6, characterized in that the filler block (60) is made of silicone and/or of the friction material of the lining (20).
- 8. A brake shoe (18) according to any one of paragraphs 1-7, characterized in that the sealing chamber (50) is made in the form of a single block with a lining holder (24).
- 9. A method for assembling a brake shoe (18) according to any one of paragraphs 1-8, comprising the steps of:
- feed the lining (20), the lining holder (24) and the sealing chamber (50);
- connect the holder (24) of the overlay with the mounting surface (22B) of the overlay (20);
- placing the sealing chamber (50) in the space (29) existing between the holder (24) of the lining and the mounting surface (22B) of the lining (20) so that the suction opening (44) of at least one groove (30, 32, 38, 40, 42) for collecting particles leads into the sealing chamber (50) and is fluidly connected to the suction channel (52).
- 10. The method according to claim 9, in which the sealing chamber (50) is located in the space (29) in at least one of the following ways:
- welding the sealing chamber (50) to the holder (24) of the lining and/or to the lining (20); and/or
- attaching the sealing chamber (50) to the holder (24) of the lining and/or to the lining (20) via the connecting means (66); and/or
- pressing with heat shrinkage of the sealing chamber (50) between the holder (24) of the lining and the lining (20); and/or
- pressing the lining (20) onto the unit containing the lining holder (24) and the suction channel (52).
