Claims (20)

  1. 1. A method for modifying trichothecene, comprising the steps
  2. a) obtaining a reaction mixture by contact of trichothecene
  3. (i) with at least one polypeptide comprising and/or consisting of an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 70% with an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1-36, preferably an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1, 23, 27, 32, 34 and 36; and
  4. (ii) glutathione; and
  5. b) incubation of the reaction mixture.
  6. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that step b) is carried out at a temperature of 5-40°C, preferably at a temperature of 20-40°C.
  7. 3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that step b) is carried out for at least 5 minutes, preferably for at least 10 minutes.
  8. 4. The method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the trichothecene is selected from deoxynivalenol, 3-acetyldeoxynivalenol, 15-acetyldeoxynivalenol, nivalenol, T-2 toxin, HT-2 toxin and diacetoxyscirpenol; preferably deoxynivalenol.
  9. 5. A mutant variant of a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 70% with an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1-36, preferably an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1, 23, 27, 32, 34 and 36; wherein the mutant variant comprises at least one amino acid mutation, substitution, deletion and/or insertion.
  10. 6. An additive for modifying trichothecene, comprising (i) at least one polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 70% with an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NO: 1-36, preferably an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NO: 1, 23, 27, 32, 34 and 36; and/or a mutant variant according to claim 5; and (ii) at least one additional component, preferably glutathione.
  11. 7. The supplement according to claim 6, characterized in that at least one additional component is glutathione; and in that glutathione is contained in the supplement in a concentration suitable to achieve an inclusion factor of at least 0.1 μmol per kg (for example, at least 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 μmol per kg).
  12. 8. The supplement according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the supplement further comprises one or more components selected from dietary supplement(s); nutraceutical(s); pharmaceutical(s); vitamin(s); mineral(s); amino acid(s); essential fatty acid(s); fiber(s); microelement(s); antioxidant(s); plant extract(s); herbal extract(s); essential oil(s); carrier(s), preferably selected from bentonite, silicon dioxide and carbohydrates.
  13. 9. A method for producing an additive for feed and/or food product, for a feed composition and/or food composition or for a pharmaceutical composition, comprising the steps
  14. a) providing at least one polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 70% with an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1-36, preferably an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1, 23, 27, 32, 34 and 36; and
  15. b) contacting at least one polypeptide with one or more components of a feed additive, a food product additive, a feed composition additive, a food composition additive and/or a pharmaceutical composition additive.
  16. 10. A method for producing a feed; a food product; a feed composition; a food composition; a pharmaceutical composition; biogas; bioethanol, DDGS; sugar, preferably from sugar cane or sugar beet; corn oil, corn germ, corn germ meal, corn fiber, corn gluten, starch, in particular corn starch; and/or silage; wherein the method comprises the steps of
  17. a) providing at least one polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 70% with an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1-36, preferably an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1, 23, 27, 32, 34 and 36; and
  18. b) linking with at least one polypeptide; and/or the additive according to any one of claims 6 to 8 to one or more components of a feed; a food product; a feed composition; a food composition; a pharmaceutical composition; biogas; bioethanol; WDG, DDGS; sugar, preferably from sugar cane or sugar beet; corn oil, corn germ, corn germ meal, corn fibre, corn gluten, starch, in particular corn starch; and/or silage.
