Abstract

FIELD: engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an assembly of a prefabricated complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation. The assembly is part of a roller head configured to be fixed in a machine tool carriage. The assembly comprises deforming elements of the prefabricated complex-profile tool, a collet washer made with an outer cylindrical surface and cut in one place of its circumference, a sleeve made with an internal fine-pitch thread and an internal conical part with a collet element, and an axle. The axle is mated with the sleeve by a mating external thread to enable changing the outer diametrical size of the collet element and the collet washer. The sleeve is installed in a housing on two bearings. The collet washer is installed on the sleeve, and the deforming elements of the prefabricated complex-profile tool are installed on the collet washer. EFFECT: expansion of technological capabilities. 1 cl, 1 dwg

Description

The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering technology, namely to devices for external finishing and hardening treatment of parts made of steels and alloys by surface plastic deformation (SPD) using an assembled complex-profile tool. To increase the intensity of impact on the surface layer during SPD, various tools with complex working surface profiles are used. To ensure rapid retooling of complex-profile tools, a prefabricated design is used, allowing for the rapid achievement of the required working surface profile for the desired machining result. The closest to the claimed design of the assembly unit of a complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation is the "Assembled complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation" (RU Patent No. 2792331, IPC B24B 39/04 (2006.01), published on 03.21.2023, Bulletin No. 9), made in the form of three strengthening (deforming) toroidal rollers with identical small profile radii and one smoothing (polishing) toroidal roller with the largest profile radius, successively mounted on the axis of a roller unit. The tool expands the technological capabilities of the SPD method, improves the performance properties of rolled products due to the fact that deforming elements are sequentially located on the working surface, offset relative to each other in the radial direction, while the assembled design makes it possible to change the profile of the working surface by replacing individual elements. The disadvantages of this design are the difficulty of ensuring the coaxiality of the elements of the assembled complex-profile tool due to the geometric imperfection of the design elements (the axis of the roller assembly and the seating surfaces of the assembled complex-profile tool). The technical result of the claimed invention is the expansion of the technological capabilities of the PPD method, in particular, the use of prefabricated complex-profile tools that ensure the intensification of the stress-strain state and strengthening without destroying the surface layer of the workpiece material, due to an increase in the accuracy of the installation of the elements of the prefabricated complex-profile tool, which makes it possible to improve the performance properties of rolled products under conditions of high operational loads. The said technical result is achieved by the fact that the unit of the assembled complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation, made with the possibility of installation from the condition of applying to it a static load normally to the machined surface of the part and being a part of a roller head made with the possibility of fixing in the machine support, containing the deforming elements of the assembled complex-profile tool, according to the claimed invention, it is provided with a collet washer made with an outer cylindrical surface and cut in one place of its circumference, a sleeve made with an internal thread with a fine pitch and an internal conical part with a collet element, and an axis mating with the sleeve with a mating external thread to ensure the possibility of changing the outer diametrical size of the collet element and the collet washer, wherein the sleeve is installed in the housing on two bearings, wherein the collet washer is installed on the sleeve, and the deforming elements of the assembled complex-profile tool are installed on the collet washer. The claimed invention is illustrated by a drawing, where Figure 1 shows a diagram of a unit of a complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation. The assembly of a complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation, which is part of a roller head for surface plastic deformation, is made of a special sleeve 1, equipped with an internal thread 2 with a fine pitch and an internal conical section with a collet element 3, mounted on two bearings 4 in a housing 5. To ensure the ability to change the outer diameter of the sleeve, the design is equipped with a special axis 6, mating with a special sleeve with a mating external thread 7. The deforming elements of the assembled complex-profile tool 8 are mounted on a collet washer 9, which has an external cylindrical surface and a cut in one place of the circumference, which in turn is mounted on a special sleeve. To ensure a guaranteed gap between the assembled tool and the housing of the assembled complex-profile tool unit, a washer 10 is used. The design operates as follows. A composite complex-profile tool for surface plastic deformation is installed in a composite complex-profile tool assembly for surface plastic deformation. This assembly is mounted so that a static load is applied to it normally to the workpiece surface and is part of a roller head designed for mounting on the machine support. Special bushing 1 of the composite complex-profile tool assembly has an internal conical section and a collet element 3 in one section and a fine-pitch thread 2 in the other. The outer surface of the bushing is c
