Description

The invention relates to agricultural microbiology and biotechnology, in particular to lipolytically active microorganisms, namely to the strain Pseudomonas protegens W22 VKM B-3956D for the destruction of fat-containing waste. Industrial wastewater from food processing plants represents a complex, multi-component system of contaminants, among which animal and vegetable fats occupy a special place. The main sources of such wastewater include meat processing plants, dairies, oil and fat factories, fish processing plants, and large catering establishments. Food production and distribution companies are currently faced with the challenge of disposing of fatty waste. Wastewater containing fatty compounds requires special treatment methods to reduce lipid content to regulatory limits before discharge into water bodies or soil. To purify wastewater from fats, various methods are used, which can be mechanical, chemical, biological or electrochemical. A method for resource-saving processing of wastewater sludge, including fat-containing waste, is known, using mechanical-thermal dehydration with recycling of thermal energy (patent for invention of the Russian Federation No. 2848709, IPC C02F 9/00; published: 21.10.2025) A known method for purifying fat-containing wastewater involves introducing a culture of microscopic fungi into the wastewater. The fungi used are Aspergillus niger 288, while the pH and temperature of the wastewater are maintained within the ranges of 4.5-5 and 28-30°C, respectively, and the water is treated for 48-50 hours (RU Patent for Invention 2016851, IPC C02F 3/34; published: 30.07.1994). This method improves the extraction of polluting components from wastewater and increases the growth of microbial biomass, which can then be used as livestock feed. The microbiological preparation "BionexGT" (https://bionex.pro/production/industrial/septic-treat?ysclid=mj41mkwsbj486627544, accessed: 12/11/2025) contains 8 strains of facultative anaerobic microorganisms that promote the breakdown of fat macromolecules into simpler substances, eliminate pathogenic microflora and reduce the level of pollution in industrial wastewater, and also prevent the formation of fatty deposits on the surfaces of separation systems and pumping equipment. A known method for purifying wastewater containing residues of edible oils and fats is characterized in that a fermentation process is carried out on wastewater using a powdered biopreparation created on the basis of bacterial cultures Acinetobacter species M-2, Acinetobacter species M-3, Arthrobacter species M-4, Rhodococcus species M-5, in the presence of sources of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and microelements at a temperature of 10-50 °C. (patent for invention of the Russian Federation 2161595, IPC C02F 3/34; C12N 1/20; published: 10.01.2001). The method is characterized by the following features: the following features: the use of biopreparations in the form of dry powders and environmental friendliness due to the use of non-pathogenic bacterial strains for wastewater treatment. The bacterial strain Bacillus sp.VKM B-2815D (patent for invention of the Russian Federation No. 2675940, IPC C12N 1/20; published: 25.12.2018) is known to have the ability to utilize oil and oil products in a wide range of temperatures, deposited in the All-Russian Collection of Microorganisms of the G.K. Skryabin Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences under the registration number VKM B-2815D. The strain Bacillus sp. PN1-2T2 VKM B-3891D (patent for invention of the Russian Federation No. 2842381, IPC A01N 63/22; published: 06/25/2025) is known for the destruction of fat-containing waste, deposited in the All-Russian Collection of Microorganisms of the Federal Research Center "Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences", the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms named after G.K. Skryabin of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBPM RAS) under registration number B-3891D. A consortium of lipophilic bacterial strains for the biodegradation of palm oil is known, consisting of Pseudomonas protegens VKM B-3844D and Gordonia parafinivorans VKM Ac-3071D in a 1:1 ratio. (RU Patent for Invention No. 2827186, IPC C12N 1/20; published: September 23, 2024). A distinctive feature of the consortium is the combination in a single association of two bacterial strains capable of active growth in a medium with palm oil as the sole source of organic matter. The objective of the invention is to obtain a new lipophilic strain for the destruction of fat-containing waste, possessing high lipolytic properties and the ability to actively grow in a medium with a fat source as the only source of organic matter. The technical result of the invention consists in the creation of a new strain of Pseudomonas protegens W22 VKM B-3956D for the destruction of fat-containing waste. The stated objective and the
