Description

The invention relates to conductive connections between two or more conductors in direct contact, namely to a wedge socket and a plug with gravity contact retention. A device is known (RU Patent No. 2682286) for transmitting data through a drill joint connection, adapted to be placed in a wellbore, wherein the device comprises: a first data transmission element connected to a first well component having a first connecting element of the tool, which contains a first outer surface, a recess in the first outer surface extending along the circumference of the first connecting element of the tool, and a bayonet connection pin mounted on the outer surface of the first connecting element of the tool and extending therefrom; a second data transmission element connected to a second well component having a second connecting element of the tool, which contains a second outer surface, a recess in the second outer surface extending along the circumference of the second connecting element of the tool, and a groove adapted to receive the bayonet connection pin of the first connecting element of the tool; a plurality of protective covers, each of which comprises: an outer surface which is part of a cylinder; wherein the first recess of the first connecting element of the tool and the second recess of the second connecting element of the tool are configured to receive a protective casing; the first data transmission element comprises one of the male element of the coaxial connector and the female element of the coaxial connector, and the second data transmission element comprises the other of the male element of the coaxial connector and the female element of the coaxial connector; wherein each of the female element of the coaxial connector and the male element of the coaxial connector comprises a plurality of concentric contacts, wherein the plurality of female concentric contacts are configured to be mated with the plurality of male concentric contacts; and wherein the electrical connection between the female element of the coaxial connector and the male element of the coaxial connector is formed during the formation of the drill joint connection by mating the first connecting element of the tool and the second connecting element of the tool. The disadvantage of this device is the application of significant external force during direct mating of contacts, as well as poor contact due to the possibility of contamination of the contact surface during direct mating of one surface with another. The technical objective of the proposed solution is to eliminate contamination of the contact surface due to the displacement of contacts relative to each other during mating, to reduce additional mechanical forces when mating the conductive contacts of the plug and socket due to gravitational elements, and to eliminate spark discharges by increasing the contact area. The technical result of the claimed solution is the elimination of additional mechanical forces when mating the conductive contacts of the plug and socket due to gravitational elements, as well as the elimination of spark discharges due to an increase in the contact area. The said technical result is achieved by the fact that a wedge socket for a plug with gravity contact retention is proposed, comprising a socket housing, contact conductive elements of the socket, fastenings of the power supply wires of the socket to the conductive contact elements of the socket; a plug housing and contact current-carrying elements of a plug, fastening the power wires of a plug to the contact current-carrying elements of a plug, characterized in that, in the housing of the socket there is a recess in which the contact current-carrying elements of the socket are placed, the contact surfaces of which form parts of the surface of the wedge of the socket, contact current-carrying elements of the plug are placed outside the housing of the plug, the contact surfaces of which form parts of the surface of the wedge of the plug, all opening angles of the wedge of the socket coincide with all the corresponding opening angles of the wedge of the plug, the dimensions of the intermediate dielectric surfaces between the contact current-carrying surfaces of the socket are such that in the process of combining the contact current-carrying elements of the plug until complete contact with the contact current-carrying elements of the socket, there is no overlap of the intermediate dielectric surfaces by any of the contact current-carrying elements of the plug in any direction, the housing of the socket and the housing of the plug are made with gravitational elements that ensure that the contact of the current-carrying elements is maintained elements of the plug with the conductive elements of the socket, the body of the socket contains a fastening for stationary orientation of the socket relative to the direction of action of gravitational forces, the plug is made with a mass such that the gravitational for
