Abstract

FIELD: environmental protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental monitoring and control, in particular to systems for monitoring and recording the concentration of hazardous gases at personnel locations, and can be used at industrial facilities, in mines, in chemical plants, as well as in other places where there is a risk of hazardous substance leakage. An intelligent gas monitoring system for monitoring and recording the concentration of hazardous gases comprises a gas analyser including a concentration sensor, an amplification-conversion device, a microcontroller-based logic control system, an alarm device, a rechargeable battery, and a video recorder with a function of overlaying the hazardous gas concentration value onto recording frames. The system further comprises a communication module supporting two-way communication with a central server via at least two stationary wireless access points, wherein the communication module is configured to calculate the device location coordinates based on the signal time difference of arrival to said access points and to transmit data on gas concentration, calculated coordinates and system status to the central server, and the video recorder is configured to overlay data on the device location coordinates obtained from the communication module onto the video sequence.   1. 1. An intelligent gas monitoring system for monitoring and recording the concentration of hazardous gases, comprising a gas analyzer including a concentration sensor, an amplifier and converter, a logical control system based on a microcontroller, an alarm device, a rechargeable battery, and a video recorder with the function of superimposing the concentration value of hazardous gases onto recording frames, characterized in that it contains a communication module that supports two-way communication with a central server through at least two stationary wireless access points, wherein the communication module is configured to calculate the coordinates of the location of the device based on the difference in the time it takes for the signal to reach the said access points and ensures the transmission of data to the central server on the concentration of gases, the calculated coordinates, and the state of the system, and the video recorder is configured to superimpose onto the video sequence the data on the coordinates of the location of the device received from the communication module.

The system according to paragraph 1, characterized in that it is equipped with an active notification module, designed with the ability to automatically send graphic messages through a built-in GSM gateway to a pre-set list of responsible persons, wherein each message is a photograph taken by a video recorder at the moment the concentration is exceeded, with data superimposed on the image on the amount of excess of the threshold values of hazardous substances and the coordinates of the location of the system, received from the communication module.

The system according to paragraph 1, characterized in that it is equipped with an automatic calibration unit, designed with the ability to connect to an external reference gas concentration sensor via a communication interface and adjust its metrological characteristics in accordance with the readings of the standard upon a command from the central server and after a specified time interval has elapsed.

Description

The invention relates to the field of control and monitoring of the state of the environment, in particular to systems for control and recording the concentration of hazardous gases at the location of personnel, and can be used at industrial facilities, in mines, in chemical plants, as well as in other places where there is a risk of leakage of hazardous substances. A gas analyzer for measuring concentrations of harmful and polluting substances in the air is known (RU patent No. 96663, IPC G01N 27/64, published on August 10, 2010) consisting of a microcontroller, a digital input/output interface RS-485, RS-232 or USB, a power supply, a liquid crystal display, gas-sensitive measuring transducers, and gas analyzer control buttons. To increase the selectivity of the gas analyzer, ensure the collection, processing, display, transmission and storage of recorded information, as well as the ability to control technological processes, its composition includes structurally and functionally interconnected additional devices - chemical filters, a group of gas-sensitive measuring transducers, as well as a software and hardware complex. The disadvantage is the lack of automatic registration and transmission of location-based data, as well as limited remote monitoring capabilities. A portable gas analyzer with a wireless interface for the rapid detection and notification of toxic and explosive substances in the air at special facilities is known (patent RU No. 112428, IPC G01N 27/407, published 10.01.2012) including a recording and measuring module, which is one or more sensors of toxic and explosive substances connected to a microcontroller that allows you to control the collection of data from the sensors and receive control signals from a second module via a Bluetooth transceiver, as well as a second module, which is any mobile device that supports the JAVA ME subplatform and the Bluetooth data transfer protocol, allowing you to control the recording and measuring module, determine, activate sensors, indicate the concentration level of toxic and explosive substances by displaying data on the display of a mobile device, and also notify with an audible signal The mobile device's built-in speaker alerts users when the concentration of specified gases exceeds the permissible level.
