Abstract
An occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle includes a setting processor, a server apparatus, and first and second authentication processors. The server apparatus includes a server memory that holds personalized setting data regarding an occupant to be on board the vehicle. The first authentication processor authenticates multiple occupants on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor authenticates a combination of the occupants authenticated by the first authentication processor and the vehicle. The setting processor acquires the personalized setting data regarding the occupants authenticated by the second authentication processor, from the server memory of the server apparatus, and provide the vehicle with setting, in accordance with authentication results by the first and second authentication processors with respect to the occupants on board the vehicle.

Claims (20)
- 1 . An occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle, the occupant-dependent setting system comprising: a first vehicle including a vehicle memory configured to store a first vehicle identification data to distinguish the first vehicle from vehicles other than the first vehicle, and a first setting data including at least a first biometric data that indicates physical features of one or more occupants of the first vehicle, and a vehicle setting data, associated with the first biometric data, including settings to be set to the first vehicle, the settings being personalized by the one or more occupants of the first vehicle, a first authentication processor coupled to the vehicle memory, and configured to execute a first authentication that authenticates the one or more occupants on board the first vehicle by comparing the first biometric data included in the first setting data with a second biometric data, the second biometric data being obtained using an image data of a first occupant captured by a camera installed in the first vehicle, and a setting processor configured to provide the first vehicle with setting to make a corresponding occupant-dependent setting available in the first vehicle based on the first setting data when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication; and a server apparatus configured to communicate with the first vehicle via a network, and including a server memory configured to store a second setting data including at least a second vehicle identification data associated with one or more vehicles, the one or more vehicles comprising the first vehicle, a third biometric data that indicates physical features of one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles, and account information that includes at least account data that allows the one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles to use a network service, and a second authentication processor coupled to the server memory, and configured to execute a second authentication, wherein when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, the first authentication processor is configured to obtain a fourth biometric data of the first occupant at a later timing than the second biometric data, using another image data of the first occupant captured by the camera installed in the first vehicle after the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, and request the second authentication processor to execute the second authentication by sending a first combination including at least the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant, when receiving the request of the second authentication from the first vehicle, the second authentication processor is configured to, authenticate the first occupant when detecting that the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination matches with a corresponding combination comprising at least a portion of the second vehicle identification data and a portion of the third biometric data, and, when detecting that the first occupant is authenticated by the second authentication processor, the first authentication processor is configured to receive the second setting data of the first occupant from the second authentication processor, and connect with an apparatus that provides the network service via the network by using the account information of the second setting data of the first occupant.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein as for the account information held in the server memory of the server apparatus, the setting processor is configured to acquire or set the account information regarding any one of the one or more occupants who is considered to be a driver on a basis of a seated position or any one of the one or more occupants who is considered to be an owner of the vehicle, in priority over the account information regarding a remainder of the occupants.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein the second setting data further comprising personalized vehicle setting data, the setting processor is configured to acquire the personalized vehicle setting data regarding the first occupant and provide the personalized vehicle setting data.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 3 , further comprising an imaging device configured to capture the occupants to be on board the vehicle, wherein the first authentication processor and the second authentication processor are configured to authenticate respectively the first occupant on board the vehicle, and the combination of the first occupant and the first vehicle, on a basis of one or more captured images of the imaging device.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 2 , further comprising an imaging device configured to capture the occupants to be on board the vehicle, wherein the first authentication processor and the second authentication processor are configured to authenticate respectively the first occupant on board the vehicle, and the combination of the first occupant and the first vehicle, on a basis of one or more captured images of the imaging device.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the second setting data further comprising personalized vehicle setting data, the setting processor is configured to acquire the personalized vehicle setting data regarding the first occupant and provide the personalized vehicle setting data.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 6 , further comprising an imaging device configured to capture the occupants to be on board the vehicle, wherein the first authentication processor and the second authentication processor are configured to authenticate respectively the first occupant on board the vehicle, and the combination of the first occupant and the first vehicle, on a basis of one or more captured images of the imaging device.

The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising an imaging device configured to capture the occupants to be on board the vehicle, wherein the first authentication processor and the second authentication processor are configured to authenticate respectively the first occupant on board the vehicle, and the combination of the first occupant and the first vehicle, on a basis of one or more captured images of the imaging device.
- 9 . The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the network service is provided by the apparatus different from the server apparatus.
- 10 . The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the second authentication processor is configured to, in response to the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination not matching with the corresponding second combination, not authenticate the first occupant on the first vehicle.
- 11 . The occupant-dependent setting system for the vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the first authentication processor is provided in the first vehicle, and the second authentication processor is provided in the server apparatus.
- 12 . The occupant-dependent setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the settings include at least one of settings regarding a seat position, a steering wheel position, a mirror position, a display unit, an operation by the first occupant, a navigation, or a travel of the first vehicle.
- 13 . The occupant-dependent setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the first combination comprising the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant and at least one or more additional occupants, and the second authentication processor is configured to execute a second authentication that authenticates the first occupant and each of the one or more additional occupants based on an order of respective fourth biometric data in the first combination.

An occupant-dependent setting system comprising a first vehicle, the first vehicle configured to communicate with a server apparatus via a network, the first vehicle including a vehicle memory configured to store a first vehicle identification data to distinguish the first vehicle from vehicles other than the first vehicle, and a first setting data including at least a first biometric data that indicates physical features of a first occupant of the first vehicle, and a vehicle setting data, associated with the first biometric data, including settings to be set to the first vehicle, the settings being personalized by one or more occupants of the first vehicle, a first authentication processor coupled to the vehicle memory, and configured to execute a first authentication that authenticates the one or more occupants on board the first vehicle by comparing the first biometric data included in the first setting data with a second biometric data, the second biometric data being obtained using an image data of a first occupant captured by a camera installed in the first vehicle, and a setting processor configured to provide the first vehicle with setting to make a corresponding occupant-dependent setting available in the first vehicle based on the first setting data when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication; the server apparatus including a server memory configured to store a second setting data including at least a second vehicle identification data associated with one or more vehicles, the one or more vehicles comprising the first vehicle, a third biometric data that indicates physical features of one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles, and account information that includes at least account data that allows the one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles to use a network service, and a second authentication processor coupled to the server memory, and configured to execute a second authentication, wherein when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, the first authentication processor is configured to obtain a fourth biometric data of the first occupant at a later timing than the second biometric data, using another image data of the first occupant captured by the camera installed in the first vehicle after the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, and request the second authentication processor to execute the second authentication by sending a first combination including at least the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant, the server apparatus configured to, when receiving the request of the second authentication from the first vehicle, authenticate the first occupant when detecting that the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination matches with a corresponding combination comprising at least a portion of the second vehicle identification data and a portion of the third biometric data, when detecting that the first occupant is authenticated by the second authentication processor, the first authentication processor is configured to receive the second setting data of the first occupant from the second authentication processor, and connect with an apparatus that provides the network service via the network by using the account information of the second setting data of the first occupant.
- 15 . The occupant-dependent setting system according to claim 14 , wherein the first authentication processor is provided in the first vehicle, and the second authentication processor is provided in the server apparatus.

The occupant-dependent setting system according to claim 14 , wherein the second authentication processor is configured to, in response to the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination not matching with the corresponding second combination, not authenticate the first occupant on the first vehicle.

The occupant-dependent setting system according to claim 14 , wherein the first combination comprising the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant and at least one or more additional occupants, and the second authentication processor is configured to execute a second authentication that authenticates the first occupant and each of the one or more additional occupants based on an order of respective fourth biometric data in the first combination.
- 18 . A vehicle comprising, a vehicle memory configured to store a first vehicle identification data to distinguish the vehicle from vehicles other than the vehicle, and a first setting data including at least a first biometric data that indicates physical features of one or more occupants of the vehicle, and a vehicle setting data, associated with the first biometric data, including settings to be set to the vehicle, the settings being personalized by the one or more occupants of the vehicle, a first authentication processor coupled to the vehicle memory, and configured to execute a first authentication that authenticate the one or more occupants on board the vehicle by comparing the first biometric data included in the first setting data with a second biometric data, the second biometric data being obtained using an image data of a first occupant captured by a camera installed in the vehicle, a setting processor configured to provide the vehicle with setting to make a corresponding occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle based on the first setting data when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication; wherein, the vehicle is configured to communicate with a server apparatus via a network, the server apparatus including a server memory configured to store a second setting data including at least a second vehicle identification data associated with one or more vehicles, the one or more vehicles comprising the vehicle, a third biometric data that indicates physical features of one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles, and account information that includes at least account data that allows the one or more occupants of the one or more vehicles to use a network service, and a second authentication processor coupled to the server memory, and configured to execute a second authentication, and when the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, the first authentication processor is configured to obtain a fourth biometric data of the first occupant at a later timing than the second biometric data, using another image data of the first occupant captured by the camera installed in the vehicle after the first occupant is authenticated with the first authentication, and request the second authentication processor to execute the second authentication by sending a first combination including at least the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant, the second authentication processor configured to, when receiving the request of the second authentication from the vehicle, authenticate the first occupant when detecting that the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination matches with a corresponding combination comprising at least a portion of the second vehicle identification data and a portion of the third biometric data, when detecting that the first occupant is authenticated by the second authentication processor, the first authentication processor is configured to receive the second setting data of the first occupant from the second authentication processor, and connect with an apparatus that provides the network service via the network by using the account information of the second setting data of the first occupant.

The vehicle according to claim 18 , wherein the second authentication processor is configured to, in response to the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant in the first combination not matching with the corresponding second combination, not authenticate the first occupant on the vehicle.

The vehicle according to claim 18 , wherein the first combination comprising the first vehicle identification data and the fourth biometric data of the first occupant and at least one or more additional occupants, and the second authentication processor is configured to execute a second authentication that authenticates the first occupant and each of the one or more additional occupants based on an order of respective fourth biometric data in the first combination.
Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION This application claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2021-127474 filed on Aug. 3, 2021, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference. FIELD OF THE INVENTION The technology relates to an occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle, and a vehicle. BACKGROUND Some vehicles such as automobiles allow an occupant on board to adjust, for example, a seat position. Moreover, in recent years, automobiles include advanced information devices. This makes it possible for an occupant to use a telematics service, a content service, and a sales service, while on board the automobile. SUMMARY An aspect of the technology provides an occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle. The occupant-dependent setting system includes a setting processor, a server apparatus, a first authentication processor, and a second authentication processor. The setting processor is configured to provide the vehicle with setting to make occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle. The server apparatus includes a server memory. The server memory is configured to hold personalized setting data regarding an occupant to be on board the vehicle. The first authentication processor is configured to authenticate the occupant on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor is configured to authenticate a combination of the occupant authenticated by the first authentication processor and the vehicle with the occupant on board. The first authentication processor is configured to authenticate multiple occupants on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor is configured to authenticate a combination of the occupants authenticated by the first authentication processor and the vehicle with the occupants on board. The setting processor is configured to acquire the personalized setting data regarding the occupants authenticated by the second authentication processor, from the server memory of the server apparatus, and provide the vehicle with the setting, in accordance with an authentication result by the first authentication processor and an authentication result by the second authentication processor with respect to the occupants on board the vehicle. An aspect of the technology provides a vehicle. The vehicle includes at least a setting processor, out of the setting processor, a first authentication processor, and a second authentication processor. The setting processor is configured to provide the vehicle with setting to make occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle. The first authentication processor is configured to authenticate an occupant on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor is configured to authenticate a combination of the occupant authenticated by the first authentication processor and the vehicle with the occupant on board. The first authentication processor is configured to authenticate multiple occupants on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor is configured to authenticate a combination of the occupants authenticated by the first authentication processor and the vehicle with of the occupants on board. The setting processor is configured to acquire personalized setting data regarding the occupants authenticated by the second authentication processor, from a server memory of a server apparatus, and provide the vehicle with the setting, in accordance with an authentication result by the first authentication processor and an authentication result by the second authentication processor with respect to the occupants on board the vehicle. The server memory is configured to hold the personalized setting data regarding the occupant to be on board the vehicle. An aspect of the technology provides a vehicle including circuitry. The circuitry is at least configured to provide the vehicle with setting to make occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle, out of: being configured to provide the vehicle with the setting to make the occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle; being configured to authenticate an occupant on board the vehicle; and being configured to authenticate a combination of the occupant authenticated by the circuitry and the vehicle with the occupant on board. The circuitry is configured to authenticate multiple occupants on board the vehicle. The circuitry is configured to authenticate a combination of the occupants authenticated by the circuitry and the vehicle with the occupants on board. The circuitry is configured to acquire personalized setting data regarding the occupants authenticated by the circuitry, from a server memory of a server apparatus, and provide the vehicle with the setting, in accordance with an authentication result by the circuitry with respect to the occupants on board the vehicle. The server memory is configured to hold the personalized setting data regarding the occupant to be on board the vehicle. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The accomp
