Description
CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION The present application claims the filing benefits of U.S. provisional application Ser. No. 63/715,045, filed Nov. 1, 2024, which is hereby incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD This disclosure relates to a swivel chair, and more particularly to a swivel chair having a cover over a swivel mechanism of the swivel chair. BACKGROUND It is known to provide a swivel chair or stool, where a seat rotates relative to a base, for use in environments such as offices, classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and the like. Typically, the seat is mounted to the base via a swivel mechanism or rotating mechanism that is exposed underneath the seat. Due to the exposed swivel mechanism, objects or body parts may catch in the swivel mechanism during movement of the seat relative to the base. For example, a scarf worn by a user or the user's hand may catch between rotating parts of the swivel mechanism if inadvertently located underneath the seat. Further, these swivel chairs are frequently equipped with various adjustment mechanisms (e.g., for height adjustment, backrest adjustment, and the like) having levers or knobs positioned underneath the seat and thus requiring users to place their hands underneath the seat and near the exposed swivel mechanism. Moreover, the exposed swivel mechanism may be aesthetically unappealing. SUMMARY One aspect of the disclosure provides a swivel chair assembly. The swivel chair assembly includes a seat, a base, a swivel mechanism attaching the seat to the base and a cover. The swivel mechanism includes a first mounting portion attached to the seat and a second mounting portion attached to the base. The cover extends over the swivel mechanism and is fixed relative to the base. The first mounting portion of the swivel mechanism and the seat are pivotable relative to the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism, the base and the cover. Implementations of the disclosure may include one or more of the following optional features. In some implementations, the cover is attached to the base. In further implementations, the cover snap attaches to the base. In other further implementations, a fastener extends through the cover and at least a portion of the base to attach the cover to the base. In some other further implementations, the fastener extends through the base and is received at the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism to attach the cover to the base and attach the base to the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism. In some examples, the base includes a plurality of tubular legs attached to the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism. The plurality of tubular legs extend through respective openings of the cover. In further examples, the openings are formed through a side wall of the cover. Each tubular leg of the plurality of tubular legs includes an upper portion attached to the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism and extending radially from the second mounting portion of the swivel mechanism through one respective opening. The cover snap attaches to the upper portions of the plurality of tubular legs at the openings. In some aspects, the cover includes a first portion extending over the swivel mechanism and along a portion of the seat. The cover further includes a second portion extending from the first portion and toward the seat. In some implementations, a plate is disposed at least partially between the seat and the first mounting portion of the swivel mechanism. The swivel mechanism is accommodated at an interior cavity defined by the cover and the plate. In some examples, the seat includes a chair having a seat bottom and a backrest or the seat includes a stool. Optionally, the seat bottom and the backrest are integrally formed with one another. Another aspect of the disclosure provides a swivel mechanism for a chair assembly. The swivel mechanism includes a first mounting portion configured to attach to a seat of a chair assembly. A second mounting portion is configured to attach to a base of the chair assembly. The second mounting portion is pivotable relative to the first mounting portion to enable pivoting of the seat relative to the base. A cover is configured to fixedly attach relative to the base of the chair assembly and extend over the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion. This aspect may include one or more of the following optional features. In some implementations, the cover is configured for attachment to the base. In further implementations, the cover is configured for snap attachment to the base. In other further implementations, with the cover attached to the base, a fastener extends through the cover and at least a portion of the base to attach the cover to the base. In some other further implementations, the fastener extends through the base and is received at the second mounting portion to attach the cover to the base and attach the base to t
