A device may unlock a switch of the intelligent injection device during medication administration. A device may automatically transmit, via the wireless module, medication administration data from the intelligent injection device to the electronic patient portal in response to medication administration. A device may analyze the medication administration data to determine a patient medication profile. A device may generate targeted sponsored content based on the patient medication profile. A device may present the targeted sponsored content through the electronic patient portal interface to the patient and healthcare personnel. A device may record sponsored content engagement data including content viewing duration, interaction events, and response metrics in the electronic patient portal for sponsored content optimization.

Claims (20)

  1. 1 . A method for targeted sponsored content delivery through intelligent medication administration comprising: providing an intelligent injection device comprising a barrel in fluid communication with a needle, a piston positioned within the barrel, and a microprocessor in electronic communication with a wireless module and a switch; establishing communication between the intelligent injection device and an electronic patient portal; unlocking a switch of the intelligent injection device during medication administration; automatically transmitting, via the wireless module, medication administration data from the intelligent injection device to the electronic patient portal in response to medication administration; analyzing the medication administration data to determine a patient medication profile; generating targeted sponsored content based on the patient medication profile; presenting the targeted sponsored content through the electronic patient portal interface to the patient and healthcare personnel; and recording sponsored content engagement data including content viewing duration, interaction events, and response metrics in the electronic patient portal for sponsored content optimization.
  2. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the medication profile includes at least one of a medication type, a administration frequency, or a treatment duration.
  3. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the targeted sponsored content includes at least one of a sponsored educational material, a pharmaceutical promotion, or a healthcare service advertisement relevant to the patient's medication regimen.
  4. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the intelligent injection device further comprises a temperature sensor in electronic communication with the microprocessor, and wherein the method further comprises preventing unlocking of the switch when the temperature sensor detects that medication temperature is outside a predetermined safe range, and wherein the targeted sponsored content includes temperature-related medication storage educational materials based on detected temperature excursions.
  5. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the intelligent injection device further comprises a load sensor in electronic communication with the microprocessor for detecting force measurements upon an injectable fluid during medication administration, and wherein the medication administration data includes force measurement data from the load sensor, and wherein the targeted sponsored content includes injection technique guidance materials customized based on force measurement patterns.
  6. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the intelligent injection device further comprises a damage detection system in electronic communication with the microprocessor for detecting device damage, and wherein the method further comprises generating targeted sponsored content related to device replacement or maintenance services when damage is detected.
  7. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the intelligent injection device further comprises a timestamping system in electronic communication with the microprocessor, and wherein the medication administration data includes timestamp data indicating exact timing of injection events, and wherein the targeted sponsored content includes personalized medication reminder services and adherence support programs based on administration timing patterns.
  8. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein unlocking the switch comprises performing patient verification using at least one of username verification, password verification, patient ID verification, face verification, retinal verification, vocal verification, fingerprint verification, or digital certificate verification, and wherein the targeted sponsored content is customized based on verified patient demographics and authentication preferences.
  9. 9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising integrating with wearable devices for collecting additional patient physiological data, and wherein the patient medication profile is enhanced with wearable device data including at least one of glucose monitoring data, heart rate data, or activity level measurements, and wherein the targeted sponsored content includes personalized health and wellness recommendations based on the integrated physiological data.
  10. 10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the electronic patient portal includes artificial intelligence capabilities configured to analyze the medication administration data and sponsored content engagement data to provide a personalized content recommendation.
  11. 11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the targeted sponsored content includes AI-generated educational materials, treatment adherence incentives, and pharmaceutical product recommendations optimized for individual patient profiles.
  12. 12 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising collecting geolocation data from the intelligent injection device and incorporating location-specific healthcare information into the targeted sponsored content, wherein the sponsored content includes regional healthcare provider advertisements, local pharmacy promotions, and location-based medical service recommendations.
  13. 13 . A mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system for coordinated medication management comprising: a plurality of intelligent injection devices, each comprising a microprocessor in electronic communication with a wireless module configured for mesh network communication and medication administration data transmission; a sponsored content coordination platform configured with mesh network infrastructure to: aggregate medication administration data from the plurality of intelligent injection devices to identify a plurality of patient profiles across multiple treatment regimens, coordinate targeted sponsored content delivery across multiple patients and healthcare providers within the mesh network, analyze medication administration patterns across connected devices to identify trending therapeutic areas and advertising opportunities; device-to-device sponsored content synchronization protocol that enables coordinated sponsored content delivery across multiple intelligent injection devices and patients; an artificial intelligence sponsored content management system configured to: analyze aggregated medication administration data from networked devices to identify patient cohorts and treatment patterns for targeted sponsored content campaigns, optimize sponsored content timing and presentation across the mesh network to maximize patient engagement and educational impact, coordinate pharmaceutical promotional campaigns across multiple patients with similar medication profiles and treatment schedules; an electronic patient portal configured to: receive and integrate medication administration data from connected intelligent injection devices in the mesh network, present coordinated sponsored content campaigns to patients and healthcare personnel based on medication administration profiles, enable cross-device sponsored content campaign tracking and effectiveness measurement, provide centralized advertising, provide engagement analytics and campaign performance reporting for sponsored content optimization; and wherein the sponsored content coordination platform is configured to synchronize advertising delivery events across the mesh network to maximize therapeutic education impact and coordinate comprehensive marketing campaigns that span multiple medication administrations and patient interactions.
  14. 14 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , wherein each intelligent injection device further comprises a temperature sensor in electronic communication with the microprocessor, and wherein the sponsored content coordination platform is configured to generate targeted sponsored content related to medication storage and temperature management when the temperature sensor detects medication temperature excursions outside predetermined safe ranges.
  15. 15 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , wherein each intelligent injection device further comprises a damage detection system in electronic communication with the microprocessor for detecting device damage, and wherein the sponsored content coordination platform is configured to coordinate sponsored content campaigns for device replacement services and maintenance programs when damage is detected across networked devices.
  16. 16 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , wherein each intelligent injection device further comprises a timestamping system in electronic communication with the microprocessor, and wherein the artificial intelligence sponsored content management system is configured to analyze medication administration timing patterns across the mesh network to optimize sponsored content delivery timing and coordinate time-sensitive pharmaceutical promotional campaigns.
  17. 17 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , wherein the sponsored content coordination platform is configured to perform patient verification across the mesh network using at least one of username verification, password verification, patient ID verification, face verification, retinal verification, vocal verification, fingerprint verification, or digital certificate verification, and wherein targeted sponsored content is customized based on verified patient demographics and authentication data collected across networked devices.
  18. 18 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , further comprising integration with wearable devices through the mesh network, wherein the artificial intelligence sponsored content management system is configured to analyze physiological data from wearable devices alongside medication administration data to generate personalized sponsored content campaigns.

The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , wherein the electronic patient portal includes artificial intelligence capabilities configured to analyze medication administration patterns and sponsored content engagement data across the mesh network to provide an automated recommendation for marketing campaign optimization.
  20. 20 . The mesh-networked sponsored content delivery system of claim 13 , further comprising geolocation detection systems that collect real-time coordinates from the plurality of intelligent injection devices, wherein the sponsored content coordination platform is configured to analyze geolocation data alongside medication administration data to coordinate a location-specific sponsored content campaign.

FIELD The present disclosure relates generally to a management platform for injection devices, such as syringes, and, more particularly, to data reporting regarding administration completion of an injectable pharmaceutical. BACKGROUND Understanding administration of drugs and their interaction in the healthcare ecosystem are important in delivering beneficial patient care. Applicant appreciates that regular pharmaceutical therapy and a need for real time data management related to both timing of and compliance in dosing bundled with increased information sharing across the care continuum can provide valuable insight for improving care and, in turn, reducing fraud, waste, and abuse. SUMMARY In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method for targeted sponsored content delivery through intelligent medication administration including: providing an intelligent injection device including a barrel in fluid communication with a needle, a piston positioned within the barrel, and a microprocessor in electronic communication with a wireless module and a switch; establishing communication between the intelligent injection device and an electronic patient portal; unlocking a switch of the intelligent injection device during medication administration; automatically transmitting, via the wireless module, medication administration data from the intelligent injection device to the electronic patient portal in response to medication administration; analyzing the medication administration data to determine a patient medication profile; generating targeted sponsored content based on the patient medication profile; presenting the targeted sponsored content through the electronic patient portal interface to the patient and healthcare personnel; and recording sponsored content engagement data including content viewing duration, interaction events, and response metrics in the electronic patient portal for sponsored content optimization. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method, wherein the medication profile includes at least one of a medication type, a administration frequency, or a treatment duration.
